Commentators will have it "hard" trying to remain serious when he is on the ball - can see all sorts of chants being made up by opposition supporters too.
Tigers have a gingerish hue to them - makes perfect sense to scour the Irish (and Scottish) markets. HDM should also make it all sound more exotic too - "Tigers interested in Juan Hoario of Atletico San Patricio" but I suppose that would add several million euros to the asking price!!!
If we can get him on the cheap (by PL standards) now then worth it, he'll be a big player in the future.
Vedran Corluka The Hull City defense has not managed to reach the standards they did last season so far in 2014-15. Steve Bruce will be looking at that area of the field and a move for an old, experienced head may be a wise move on Bruce's behalf. Former Manchester City and Tottenham defender, Vedran Corluka, has been linked recently and could fill the description Bruce has in mind to help improve his defense. Robin Olsen Hull have had some issues with injuries to their top two goalkeepers, Allan McGregor and Steve Harper, this season. Both are players are in their 30s now, with Harper being the older at 39. A younger goalkeeper is seemingly on Bruce's wishlist and Robin Olsen is a goalkeeper who has impressed for Malmo in Sweden this season. However, Olsen reportedly became a free agent last Wednesday, Dec. 31, and will have a few offers to choose from. Pablo Armero Hull City have strangely been linked to Pablo Armero of Udinese in recent times. Armero is having a difficult time on loan at AC Milan this season and Hull have been reported to be interested in bringing the Colombian in to the KC Stadium for a second stint in the EPL. Jermaine Defoe The reports emanating form the British media suggest Jermaine Defoe is destined to soon return to the EPL and most likely before the end of January. Any team in the lower half of the table would welcome Defoe for his natural goalscoring ability and Bruce has already confirmed Hull's interest in the player. Matching Defoe's Toronto FC wages may be an issue for lower half EPL teams, however. Adnan Januzaj Adnan Januzaj is one of the brightest prospects Manchester United have, but the Belgian is not improving in his current situation being on United's bench every week. United manager, Louis van Gaal, is reportedly keen to send Januzaj out on loan for some consistent first team minutes and Hull City are at the front of the queue for the young attacker.
Put up some stats and I'll decide. Every transfer window we get some new poster coming out with weird and bizarre transfer targets, strange hobby.
any player that Bruce has managed in the pasts ? lorik cana Stephane Sessegnon James McClean Connor Wickham Sebastian Larsson
David Raya Martin, whose loan from Blackburn to Southport has just ended, looked absolutely class in the short highlights on Match of the Day. Given that Steve Harper's days are numbered he'd be worth a dabble.
