Right lads, save yourself the trip. Call Ipswich and tell 'em not to bother. The Mirror's top tipster Bet of the Day says a win for Ipswich. This man is the world's worst forecaster...he is wrong 9/10. I could do better by guessing. Saints' win now nailed on.
I almost added that he would do better to stop betting on our opponents, but I thought it might sound like I had a chip on my shoulder.
ST holders to use their ST for this one, am I correct? I bloody hope so, cos our tickets aren't here!!!
Take your booking reference with you just in case, or customer number. You could ring the ticket office to check too.
He had a phase where he looked good, then when he had a second chance he bottled it. His confidence was then blown. On any other part of the pitch you could be given some game time until your confidence returned...no chance with a keeper (with tense, teeth-sucking fans behind you.).
That mistake against Blackpool where it went through him wasn't it? Yeah he never came back from that. Played a big part in getting us through in the JPT in the shootout against Norwich though.
Bart won't be in goal for us tomorrow! Just been reading and listening to all the media speculation regarding our young Midfielder Teddy Bidhop. He has been at Town since he was 8 years old, he had broken through into our first team this season and is only just turned 18. According to media reports he is now the subject for a 10 Million bid by Man Utd and Arsenal! You couldn't really make it up. Our young Mingsy who was at Saints when he first started out is now the subject if a 10 Million bid by the same big clubs! Who writes this garbage? The world has gone fecking mad!
Saints Fan4Life, if you check your 'Purchase History' on the 'My Account' section of the saintsfc Web Site, this will show you what seat(s) you have purchased for the Ipswich match. If there is no entry for the Southampton v Ipswich match, you may need to contact the club to convince them that you have bought tickets. If there is an entry, there will be further details, such as 'Payment Reference', seat number, etc, including status. If the tickets have been printed, the status will show 'Printed'. In which case, the tickets are somewhere in the postal system. Either way, the club should be able to reprint tickets at the ticket office tomorrow - just arrive a bit earlier than planned.
Merson changed his mind from a couple of weeks back. He no longer thinks Arsenal will finish 20 points above Saints .... just the 15 now!
Thank You. Yep, tickets bought and printed. Haven't recieved them, so guess I better head off to SMS then!
Praising Saints and Koeman with special mentions for Davis, Wanyama, Mane and Reid. I never get tired of this stuff. Earlier remarked how much better our defence is compared to the massively more expensive Arsenal one. Even Merson being positive, though he still favours Arsenal (of course) to get to the CL spots.
I won't apologise for that....we have had years of being ignored by the media. I've lost count of the number of times we win a game only to have long discussions on the telly about how unexpectedly poor the opposition were/how many injuries and suspensions they had. Even now, although we get a lot of coverage, you can sense the underlying feeling that our position is temporary. Good luck on your promotion push btw.
And when they do mention us, it's along the lines of Gary Lineker saying "They won't go away, will they"
Surely it helps that you have The Legend as a regular pundit. Just out of interest how do you look on Bournemouth? Is there any kind of local rivalry between you or re they viewed upon like a favourite Uncle! The thing that pisses me off about Eddie Howe is that he is such a bitter Tosser when things don't go his way! The media are all having a collective mega **** over what he is doing there but they seem to gloss over the fact that he has had a shed load of money to spend!
Bournemouth insist on regarding us as a local derby which we found strange. We only discovered it by chance. We have helped them when they were in trouble and we thought we were mates...but no they hate us (weird). Most of us still have a bit of a soft spot for them...would be good for us to have another South Coast club in the PL (as no chance Pompey will get back in my lifetime ).
