On iPad it's impossible to move the cursor to amend a post, or delete part of post you're replying to

 

i found the same last night on the prediction thread.

it wasn't like that the day before but i just couldn't select where i wanted to type and had to go in and out to change a couple of things

 

It is better in that sense but not better than the app. It's doing my head in. Far too slow and sluggish.

 

The new 'back to top' arrow is a little small and could be more prominent

 

The new "not606" logo is nicer

 

I pointed out to Mick couple days ago that the N is too small though

 

Yeah you're right it just needs scaling up to around the same height as the 'o'

 

The word 'not' gets bigger as it progresses towards the '606', almost in a wordart type fashion

 

Might be in the minority but I really like the new site. The alerts is a handy feature

 

I think it's ok, too. Some things are a bit weird- the quotation boxes don't really stand out and so the whole thing is a bit muddled visually, but we get used to things the way they are and something new often takes a bit of time to get into.
I'm sure we'll all cope.

Now that I've grown used to it, I think this new site is much better than the previous one.

 

I miss the box at the bottom which told you who else was reading the thread

It's still there on my screen though... writing is just really feint so can't really see very well but it's just below the comment box.

Its miles better in every way imo.

 

You can now edit post posting, but not while actually creating the post, a click back to move the cursor just brings up the copy and paste option on ipad

 

Using windows and android.

you can highlight part of someones post and reply specifically to that part only.

Great for those who break up posts in order to reply to specific points. Multi quoting is also much better. not that I ever use it.
