    Read that Stevie is being replaced as the talisman of the team by....sterling. After initially offering the overhyped inconsistent player 70k they caved in like everyone suspected and offered 100k for 5 years.

    What massive progress for the RS... Sterling for iconic Stevie me! ..nothing shows the slide of the RS into mediocrity better <laugh>​

    you're talking bollocks as usual. if Luke shaw, a fat lazy teenager is getting 100-120k a week then it does put things into perspective regarding how much sterling should be paid doesn't it?

    Ah but fat lazy always injured shaw is not viewed as the club saviour and talisman is he? Whereas too much on his shoulders Sterling is viewed as the icon to replace Stevie ... This can only end in tears...<laugh>
