Tw@ter seems to be saying he's signed for us, any one know owt? Good goalie even though he's like my age(so old then!) and I'm guessing as back up to Kasper the friendly ghost and hammer time. Watch this space I guess.
Would be a good signing but can't see it myself. Hamer's done alright and would be harsh to drop him, and Schwarzer's not exactly going to want to warm the bench here, when he could be at a much warmer bench (or sofa, he's like 3rd choice) at Chelsea? They probably have lovely, expensive, heated benches
Can only assume it is because KS is injured for longer than first feared so offers some fair cover should anything also happen to BH
You're joking, but Man City do. I noticed it the other day in the "Other gossip" section of the BBC gossip column that teams were complaining about them not turning them on in the away dugouts for games. That's troubling for 2 reasons. One, it means that Man City have them and use them. Two, if other teams are complaining about the away ones not being turned on, does that mean they're quite common? Otherwise why would the other teams be complaining about not having them for that one game?
I believe he is 42. That's forty two! Jeepers and for a season and a half. Sincerely hope there are other targets out there that come to fruition. I understand about back ups and injuries but we are bottom and having another keeper on standby in case of injury is hardly going to rocket us up the table.
I didnt think we would surpass KPs record for a while! (We probably wont as he wont get on the pitch) Or was KPs record just as the oldest goalscorer? On the heated benches - why not? The clubs have loads of money and it hardly costs a lot - probably about the cost of 1 season ticket, so why wouldnt you heat it? Makes it more comfy and prevents your muscles from getting too cold which could prevent injury. If i could have it, id want it!
I'd want the players on the bench to be a little uncomfortable, might help them put in a performance that gets them in the team if they know they're not going to be sat in the lap of luxury for the game if they're on the bench. Tiny margins, but every little helps.
I wouldnt - i would want them comfy as the happier they are the better. I understand what you are saying but happy players are better players. Why not be warmer if you could be!

So what´s the terms ? Here til the end of the season, 2nd to Hamer & then 3rd when JS is fit again. P.s I love Taylor Swift, what a fantastic human being.
Read on one site he is here until the end of the season, another says until the end of the next. Also in case any of you were wondering like I was: Oldest player: John Burridge, 43 years and 162 days (for Manchester City v. Queens Park Rangers, 14 May 1995)
Anyone think Chelsea are letting us have him on loan because we're pissed off that they won't loan Kramaric to us if he signs for them? Can't have more than one loan from the same club.
Kasper Schmeichel isn't recovering on the very optimistic schedule we set for him of 6 weeks so Schwarzer has come up to back up Ben Hamer I think and hope Eriksen's goal aside Hamer has done really well
He has been released apparently so would be a permanent signing on a free for us. Are you sure about that rule - we've signed 2 players from Man Utd at the same time last season.
Rules are different for Premier League clubs. You can only have 1 player on loan from 1 club Schwarzer and Kramaric will both be Leicester players not loans
It's a permanent deal on a free, now confirmed. http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/leicester-city-sign-mark-schwarzer-2186274.aspx
Good deal that. People will talk about his age but he's still a great shot-stopper and proved that last season in the handful of games he played for Chelsea, kept a clean-sheet against table-topping Liverpool as I recall.
