I'm still smarting after dropping 2 points yesterday - 21 looks a whole lot better than 19. I saw how dejected HR was in his interview and i can't seem to shake off the same dejection, even today. It got me thinking. In an attempt to make me feel better, are there perhaps 2 or 3 games this season where we picked up (or lost) points when we didn't deserve to? I'm talking about 'best case' scenarios - so yesterday, best case was 3 points not 1. However, West Brom win was probably a bonus after being 2-0 down, so here i guess we can say that was at least 2 points gained (which levels out yesterday's disappointment). I guess it all evens itself out over the length of a season but are we in the credit or debit column at the moment? As far as i recall, i think we lost 2 points yesterday but gained 2 versus West Brom, lost 1 versus Liverpool, gained 1 versus Leicester - the rest we got our just deserts. So for me, we've dropped 3 but gained 3, so it's even stephens for the season so far. Doesn't make me feel a whole lot better but need to clutch at some straw somewhere...!
The killer for me is that all the teams below and above did the same as us , basically we didn't pull away from anybody really ,everyone grabbing draws It just always seems to be what ever QPR do so can all the others do
Although the way it happened was highly frustrating of course, in the cold light of day it's hard to say that we deserved all three points yesterday - Swansea were overrunning us for the last 30 minutes. So not really two points dropped but it certainly felt that way trudging away from LR after the game. The Liverpool game was the real travesty of course and their recent results demonstrate just how unlucky we were to come away with nothing. Other than that we have been riding our luck at home and not doing enough away to merit even some law of averages points. Overall we are about where we deserve to be and without an injection of creativity before the end of the month we are likely to be in the bottom three by the end of the season I'm afraid.

Did we drop two points? IF Green had been sent off (as he should have been) would we have managed a point?
We are where we could reasonably be expected to be having finished 4th in the Championship. I would have taken this position at Christmas back in August. We know what has to be done. It is in our hands. We need a few good loans to help. An experienced striker but some young legs too.
If the Swans play like they did on Sunday against any of the teams in "our neck of the woods".(or better because they were not as good as they could be)...they will pick up points home or away...... I agree with another thread...it will be the fear that takes us down.....somehow we have to start believing in ourselves, because we are good enough to stay up....JUST. A match I missed....did we deserve to lose against Hull, or is that another 1 or 3 points we should have had?
1 point dropped v Hull for sure. They scored a very soft goal and Charlie missed a pen late on to level
It's not so much the points you have dropped - it's the points you are not gaining by being too timid playing away from home, that's your real problem.
We battered them in the first half and I predicted to my brother, a City fan, that we were going to go on and win 3-0. If we had more self-belief and courage we would have.
With the game against us I'm not sure if it's a case of did you deserve to lose or not (particularly as I haven't seen the game myself). If I remember rightly though the penalty shouldn't have been a penalty (there was definitely at least one early season that was missed against us that was justice done), but having had it awarded, you can debate the did your performance merit 3 points amongst yourselves, but it was definitely a point dropped by not converting it and getting the points. You had the opportunity to take it and buggered it up on that occassion.
I had forgotten that ricardo. It wasn't a penalty, but having been given you do expect to score! I thought it was a good match & that you would go on to finish about half way without any problems!
