Tadic doubtful ? Didn't look hurt yesterday :/ Ipswich are a good side and are not to be underestimated. If they were currently in the Premiership I would rank them at West Brom / QPR level. I reckon a 3-1 win , but a good cup tie, especially with a full house. Will there be streams at all ?
He had his Hamstring strapped after he went off. It was strapped when he went to shake the officials' hands at full time. That's why I have him down as doubtful. I am expecting him to get rested.
That's pretty much Mick McCarthy's first choice line up, there's no way that he will play that team on Sunday.
Obviously it's hard to predict their line up! They'll either field a full strength team or a severely weakened team.
Why would he not play his full side? And isn't Mings their star defender? Is that why you said "pretty much" their first side?
Bialkowski isn't playing, their 2nd choice Dean Gerken confirmed to be starting. Expect Ipswich to play a virtual 2 XI for this one, and hope we make a few changes aswell.
Good to see Bart making a successful career for himself, just a shame that he blew his big chance here.
http://www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-news/26496/mccarthy-set-to-make-changes And yes, the Mings/Parr left back position is why I said 'pretty much' our first side. Mings isn't exactly our 'star defender', (that would probably be Berra IMO, although it's difficult to single one out of a back four that are working so well as a unit ATM), Mings still has a lot to learn, whereas Parr is an able experienced LB...I'd probably prefer Parr to play on Sunday.
Yeah, he took the Capital One Cup seriously, so there's a good chance he will take the FA Cup just as seriously.
Thanks. I made an assumption because of the Arsenal link. This also made me assume he was primarily a centre back as it is what they need
I definitely want to see McCarthy, I guess he will play considering we don't have a right back at the moment bar Alderweireld, who might play in the center. Also a good opportunity for Reed, 100% winning record with him in the team! And probably Pelle from the bench, he must be exhausted.
Do you really not see why he wouldn't? They are a second in the Championship and want to get promoted first and foremost.
