See despite being bottom and losing every week I haven't given up just yet. Yesterday summed us up, were a decent team just lacking the conviction in from of goal and concede poor goals at the back This needs addressing very quickly or else we will give ourselves too much work to do. Right now all we need to do is put a few wins together and we back in the pack. Easier said then done when we average a win every 9 games
One win and you're just 3 points off safety! I'm telling you man, there's absolutely nothing between the 7 or 8 teams at the lower end.
Told ya lads...Plenty more to come before the season ends.....I dont believe that old bollox about being bottom at xmas means you'll go down. Statistcally its bollox even if its happened in the past. Still enough points to play for so that ANYONE could go down. Good win for you, makes things even more intresting well done
If we were playing crap I´d be worried, but the fact is (minus our DEF which we need to address) we are battling & creating chance, so we do have wins in us. We just need the rub of the green & do alot about that flapping DEF of ours. It´s going to be a battle between 4, 5 or even 6 teams at the bottem so alot can & will happen between now & May. I just hope that our season has started & we´ll pick up a good amount of pts in the new year. WE AIN`T DONE YET BECAUSE "THE FOXES NEVER QUIT" "UTF"
Not impressed with the way we are playing, but if someone had offered me 15th at the halfway point I'd have taken it. Well done on the win Foxes! Is it back on?
I still think you've got a great chance of staying up, by beating us and getting the point at Anfield you've started to gain a bit of momentum. I just hope it isn't at our expense
I don't think it will be. Despite the Pulis appointment, West Brom are still God awful. QPR are playing ****e at the moment and points won't keep Burnley up.
Well, points will keep Burnley up, I assume you meant draws! I'm a little bit wary of facing WBA now, we've faced new managers a few times in the past and as memory serves we don't do that well. Pulis will drill that side and we need to use the performance from the Everton game to pull us through. You're right about QPR, take Fer, Green and Austin out that side and they're terrible.
Yes exactly that SA. Well all I can say is... LCFC´s DEF is poo (at the mo) & to think our manager was a DEF himself, but I ain´t going to say that to his face as he´ll bite my head off if I did. Anyway, IF, big IF, we sort our DEF out & carry on with our legendry "FOXES NEVER QUIT" attitude we COULD start to pull away. I have said in the past, not that long ago tbf, that we are a championship team playing in the prem but so are about 6 other teams so, stating the obvious, if we can be 1 of those teams that can scrap & pick up points we should be able to pull away & finish outside the bottom 3. All I know is, it´s going to be a very good but hard scrap down there all the way til May.
Couldn't agree more, there's going to be a few twists and turns yet. Your defence is poor, but I think it's down to a lack of pace. Was and Morgan (who can't seem to get anything right at the moment after a decent start) are just too slow, Moore is decent but a lack of experience shows through. Somebody like Tyrone Mings (if you can pip Arsenal to his signature) would be great, if not a little pricey.
Anyone who watched the game, how did De Laet fare at left back? Is he a better option than Konchesky?
I had a different opinion on WBA when I saw them, I thought even Irvine would keep them up, Pulis defo will IMO. QPR played well yesterday BTW, that's a very good Swansea side we came ball achingly close to beating!!
Fuuny thread this..you get a couple of points and all the gobshites that were expecting doom have suddenly come back... What a laugh....
