He was his normal rubbish self. I particularly liked when he said in successive sentences that Vertonghen's 'handball' was not intentional but that Chel53a were right that it should have been a penalty. How the BBC can justify paying him is beyond me. And they didn't even show the incident when Cahill kicked Kane. On another point, why no outrage over the reckless challenge by Cahill that failed to prevent the second goal. It was worth a yellow at least and presumably a red if Rose had missed. And why no yellow for the foul for the penalty?
What got me about this goal was how the commentators were saying it was brilliant when it was a give away by Fazio and then it was 3 vs 1-thay couldn't miss
Haha, what an incredible game. 10s all round, even Fazio for making a game of it I was saying at the time he's got more composure than abillity, always seems to want to walk it through a group of attackers. Mad bastard! Was cringing when Townsend stepped up to take the penalty but he buried in the corner, he's got a lot of bottle doing that. If I wasn't hungover enough yesterday then **** me I'm hungover now
Well I just got chatted up by two lovely ladies in the pharmacy and all because I was wearing a Spurs woolly hat. The younger one was very pretty and one of us, but quickly let me know she had a boyfriend (why do they keep doing that? ). The older one, a Liverpool fan, made me smile. Spurs win against a top team no one likes + woolly Spurs hat = women
What a miserable misbegotten cry baby is the Chavs manager They were second best in a two horse race and that was second in every department over the game P.S. just how over rated is Terry
Because he plays for Chelsea and he's an England regular. Lee Cattermole would've picked up about 50 disciplinary points with that display.
It's pathetic how easily the press fall for Mourinho's nonsense too. Even on the Beeb, after all the articles fawning over Gerrard, the first mention of our game is Mourinho complaining about how the penalty cost them. As PowerSpur said, Cahill should've been sent off. Frankly, it was more cruel to leave him on the pitch though
https://vine.co/v/Ow9QhHKdMZK Kick in the back, stamp on the ankle. Mourinho claims for something for Chelsea. A fair WWE-themed summary of yesterday's game: https://vine.co/v/OwYXt90vnb6
watching that stamp again makes it worse- pundits claim he was going for the ball BUT the ball was out of play.
Cahill should get a retrospective 3 game ban for that kick, it's clearly deliberate. Of course, it will never happen.
We've had some luck this season, getting points when maybe we didn't deserve them, but there was nothing lucky about yesterday. That was a fully deserved 3 points and it was good to hear our fans singing "it's so easy at the Lane", instead of their lot. Harry Kane's performance will stay in the memory for some considerable time and considering the number of games recently, our energy levels were fantastic throughout. Great entertainment and long overdue after some of the dross we've seen this season.
I agree. It wasn't just that we conceded three, it was the manner of the goals which concerns me. All three were what I call "Spursy", just typical and poxy goals we often concede.

Amen to that, Brother!!! lol Funnily enough, the incident that most impressed me about Kane yesterday was in the 2nd half when he took on Cahill (and Terry I think) down the left wing, out-paced them, out-muscled them and having done that showed the skill, patience and nous to hang onto the ball untill support arrived. All that after having given his all for an hour. Bloody inpressive!!
Did anyone else notice the ridiculously unsportsmanlike move by Chelsea in the second half, when one of our players put the ball out so that Costa (possibly) could get treatment and they blatantly went on the attack, instead of giving it back? Vertoghen went mental, Dowd went along with it and they won a corner, despite everyone knowing exactly what happened. Utterly classless, just like Terry's post-match ventriloquist interview, where you could nearly see Mourinho's arm up his backside. Campaign, biased refs, penalty at 1-0 and the game would've been over... Now do it again while drinking a glass of water, Jose.
I'd forgotten about that. Was it not one of ours that was injured though? Classless move from a classless club. Anyway...
