That must have been filmed ages ago, Diame was doing it too.

Does anyone know if Gaston was replaced due to injury or was it tactical?

Injury, no details to how long he is out for, but Bruce seemed concerned for him and Rosenior.

I suppose it's possible that they could be back in training but not ready for matches yet.

I think it's very unlikely that Diame would be in a position to be smashing balls half the length of the pitch, I'd be surprised if he's doing anything other than gym work in fact.

I thought he was out for six weeks and that was on the 4th December, he'll be back training if he's on schedule.

These dates are until they resume full training. He won't be training again yet.

He wasn't named in Senegal's preliminary squad, so it would be a shock if they suddenly named him in their final squad (I think the official deadline is some time next week).

But stranger things have happened in the crazy world of the CAF.

He was playing at LB for Ireland not long ago and looked good.

I think Bruce said it was his groin.

Blimey, not good indeed. Dr A will have to dig deep as we'll have to spend.

Townsend would depend on the loan deal, but as you say it was part of the agreement over Robertson joining us so it's unlikely there's a recall clause. We'd still have the option of buying it out, but I don't see them letting him go cheaply. He's their first choice left back and has been impressing for them. In the Dundee derby they battered the opposition and I think even as a full back Townsend got 2 assists and would have had a 3rd but he created a chance for a player and when they shot it deflected off another United player who got credited with it.

Dudgeon's loan is a long term one, he joined for a month at the start of the season to see how he was recovering, but then they extended it on deadline day so that he wasn't limited to 93 days with them. Fortunately they only extended it as far as 5th January so we've got that option after today's game if we want it.
