I was gonna mention the run too. Fantastic stuff. He's a big ****. ****ing massive. Looks alright so far.
The old man infront of me today now just calls him the "New Jon Parkin." Good god, Harry's got a lot to live up to!
Can anyone remember his run in the FA Cup Semi final, think it was 4-3 at the time he waltzed around about 5 of our players through our half thought he was gonna slot it in the top corner. Hope we will see a few of his marauding runs in the future!
That was just what Maguire needed today a nice little 30 minute cameo that will do his confidence a power of good. He even had time to take one for the team!! Loved that run he went on down the right wing late on when he kept on trying to pass it to someone, nobody wanted it so he kept going himself!! LOL!
At that point I chanted "harrys too good for you, harrys too good for you" and some bint behind me told me to shut up, ****ing flaskers
He reminds me of Neil Ruddock, a big ****ing unit, good that we have a good group of younger lads like him Brady and Robertson to go with the older heads, would like to see a few other ressies getting a chance to step up, Brucey is similar to Van Gaal in that he will give young lads like Robertson and Maguire a go and let them find their feet
Really impressed with him, and seems to be able to handle the EPL standard in his stride. Has good feet for such a big unit, looks like a very good acquisition.
I feel there's some exaggeration here. His tackle on Barkley was absolutely ridiculous and well worth a yellow, and he could have had a yellow before that when he hung off the back of someone for ages after they went past him, might have been Barkley again in fact. That run he went on was entertaining, but it only happened because his pass to Chester was short and he had to retrieve it himself. Yes he did well to beat two men, but I was hardly reassured by it. Oh come on. The cross landed on top of the goal.
