Chelsea are catchable. Gives teams below them hope. Before the last few matches, Chelsea were imperious. Now they aren't. Today's result was worth finding that out. Chelsea fans on 606 are now saying they may not win the league, so it's causing agitation. Day not ruined at all. It just depends how you look at it.
Chelsea losing will make 2015 interesting! I have a funny feeling about Man Utd. They have been poor all season and a shadow of what they were under Ferguson but I wonder whether they will mount a challenge later on if they start to hit form?
Jose deserved that, hope he's hurting tonight. Far too much bullshit played out in the media recently.
ManU have already hit form. They're playing as well as their unbalanced team can. Still defensively frail, of course.
Just got back. Great day. I am surprised to read a few people saying Arsenal were poor though. I felt that the first ten minutes was end to end and then Arsenal took control in the first half, forcing Fraser in to some good saves. Our goal was slightly against the run of play. After that, yes, I'd agree we got control and the Fraser save from Sanchez was the result defining moment as two minutes later we were 2-0 up. As for the Gardos yellow card, it was close to me and I felt instantly that the ref wouldn't give a red as Jose was right there with him. I haven't seen it back on the telly though.
Would love to see a Vine of Vics little cameo near the half way line, it had the Radio Solent team burbling away.
Official Premier League 90 minutes now up. Previous was Bein Sports. Beware, this has Trevor Francis as co-commentator, and if you read my comments during the game, he was rather Arsenal this, Arsenal that, in my opinion: http://www.footballorgin.com/2015/01/southampton-v-arsenal-premier-league.html
MOTD running order: Tot/Che, ManC/Sun, Liv/Lei, New/Bur, Sou/Ars, Hull/Eve, QPR/Swa, Sto/ManU, WHU/WBA, AV/CP
Point of notice from today's game: did anyone notice that Arsenal didn't put a single player inside the 6 yard box at corners? It was actually a pleasant surprise to see a team not bothering with all that cheating **** at corners.... Might also be an example of their soft under belly. Also, WTF was their little wave to the whole ground, from the halfway line before kick-off?
I do love Wengers BBC interview, I think he was watching a different game...LOL God we were lucky to win having been dominated by the better team and should have been down to ten men What a sulk
Hmm just had a thought. Do you reckon the bloke who confronted Wenger was paid by Piers Morgan to do it?
Thought Dusan was quality today, had a wonderful bit of footwork in the second half that would love to see again. Got their right back in a real tangle.
