You may or may not agree with me but I have decided to appoint 2 new mods and need to explain why. I stopped having polls for mods because I felt it was the wrong way to go, who we got depended more on who voted than who was right for the role. We do have some cracking mods and I’m not decrying anyone in your poll but mistakes have been made in the past. I know to some the mods role is unimportant but a lot of time and effort s going into not606, by Mick in the main, and many people enjoy using it, one bad mod can can set it back a long way. I also have the disadvantage of not knowing everyone so its hard to pick the right person so I tend to talk to a few long time posters and the present mods to gather opinions, after doing all this I can get it very wrong and without doubt will not make everyone happy. All this said a vote has taken place and it would be wrong of me to say **** you United fans and your opinions, they don’t count, that would go against everything not606 stands for. If I thought your choice was a disaster it would have given me a problem but fortunately I don’t have a problem with Julius Caesar so he is your first additional mod. I have again thought long and hard about mod 2 but feel sure that Constcrepe would make a good mod so he is your second new mod. I have taken daveunited off the mods role for now until I get the chance to talk to him, not because he has done anything wrong but because he has not been around a lot and I need to make sure he can give the time needed, I’m waiting for a PM from him. I hope the new team can start and help your board grow, good luck for the coming season.
I came second in poll and I contribute more to this board than most through writing new articles and/or through being a topic of much discussion myself.
Whilst Constcrepe was not even nominated. Good luck to the new mods, I hope they can help inject some new life into what is a dying board.

Still doesn't stop me from being disappointed, and this board has been dying recently. Man Utd are one the biggest and most widely supported clubs yet this board has been extremely quiet recently.
I agree the board is a little dead but most are, ours at Sunderland tends to be full of crap to fill in, all will change very soon at kick off. Try a games thread like Newcastle and us, they seem popular

Oh! My bad. Not really what i would spend my time on, despite playing all three Not sure what sort of in depth discussions would be had. We have a FM11 section everytime its rumoured we're after a new player
Problem is with united we have less points of debate. Our signings have been well known since march and most of the discussion about them happened then and its not like we can have the sort of "is the manager good enough" threads at this club is it? I think the only thing we can do is to discuss individual players with greater detail. The Idea of those games type thing is interesting though.
