Well done mate, summed it up perfectly. If Konchesky hovers the boards it'd bring a tear to his eye reading that

Well said Bozz! is it the heat? are you all mellow like me too? I agree that you have to be a right narc to hold his mums comments about scousers over him. She was only responding to all the **** she was getting about him from so called Liverpool fans who were posting on her Facebook page. So she was a bit misguided, as most of the tits who post insulting **** like that don't usually come from Liverpool.

I have a theory that the less you know the more opinionated you get about it. So people who go the match, might not think he's the best in the world, but since the whole team was crap, it would have been a bit unfair to single him out, but then you get the people in the UK, who don't go the match, but listen on the radio and watch the highlights on the telly, and from that exposure they appear to form a harsher opinion about the lads skill. Then you get the people who post ****e on the web, who get all big and brave when they are hidden from the world by a computer screen. So they will use over exaggerated and harsh phrases, since they don't get any comeback, so they are posting that this is the worst person ever to pull on a red shirt etc.. So then the people around the world who don't get any other exposure other than the crap on the web, and their opinion is the worst of all, as the only "facts" they have are from the morons spouting bile. So they they vent the worst of all, and are ordering people to Kill the player. So forgive him mum, if she is getting an inbox full of "Your son is ****" "did you drop him on his head as a baby?" bollox. I'd have vented as she did, I would just know it wasn't the scousers

Anyhow, expecting him to be sacked for it, is childish, yes he might get sold, but in the mean time, he is a Liverpool player, it's warm, I'm mellow, and he has my support, and if he goes, he has my thanks for giving it a crack, and I'm sorry it never worked out for him. Was it him who brought himself here? Is it his fault if he is out of his depth? You have to blame doddery Woy, not the lad himself.

Now please people, don't make me come around and slap you for spouting uncalled for angry ****. We are Liverpool, we handle ourselves with respect, and we support each and every player at our club until we sell them, and then we call them **** ;-)
    ------------------------------------------------------------
what a 100% tool you real are, there so much bile rubbish in this but I cant be bothered going into it, grow up you silly little girl

You have to look at the problem from a commercial standpoint. LFC have a significant investment in the lad. Now if we are to recover some of that by selling him then we need to ensure that he is in the best shape to do so. If Kenny wants to keep him then we need hit fit and ready. If DC has to arrange a loan again then he needs him to be fit.

After all that the club are still paying his wages!

Can understand both sides on this, as the Hodgson era was so painful that emotions run deep around things that are part of that, but also you have to remember he's just a bloke at the end of it.

We knew Konchesky wasn't good enough before we signed him. He wasn't good enough after we signed him. He will probably never be good enough. It's our fault for backing Hodgson with the money to sign him, not his fault. It's not like he has been making promises he is the best left back in the world or kicking up a fuss, he just wasn't good enough. His ability is probably top Championship level, but he's professional and has a good mentality which brings him up to lower Premier League standard (in my opinion). Some of our fans helped to destroy that mental side and so we had a Championship player in a Premier League team in crisis, was always gonna be a disaster, especially given his link with Hodgson.

Dalglish was right in getting him out of the line of fire and distancing himself from Hodgson's mistakes by loaning him out, but i would rather take £1mil+ for him than keep him as a back-up or anything, even if Clarke is a defensive guru. The Forest fans i've spoken to thought he was poor while there by the way.

Why is this guy still on our board? A terrible post anyway but insulting other LFC members is disgusting. And no apology!

Paul Konchesky has proven throughout his career that he is a solid left back.He might not fall into the category of world class and be among the top 10 left backs you could name but still he can do a job for us.
We have struggled with the left back position since Riise who was never replaced.

Given the correct coaching and also time to settle in to the team because he has played for lower level teams and liverpool is a big step up for him.

If he leaves the club then I wish the lad all the best & if he stays we all will back him as he is a liverpool player and with the correct coaching and management he can help make liverpool succesful.

Bet you if Konchesky played first game and put some kind of good tackle in we would give him a huge cheer and try and encourage him along.

Reminds me of Ron Moran and the 1965 Inter semi-final. Gerry Byrne broke his collar-bone in the FA Cup final. Moran was picked as his replacement and when it was announced before the match The Kop groaned! In the first 5 minutes he got skinned twice. Ron Yeates had a 'quiet word in his ear' and after that he played a blinder and even had his name chanted!

I agree. While he wasn't the best, I don't think he did quite as bad as everyone thinks. He was in a new team, and a lot of pressure was on him, but he did get beat a few times. The problem, though, was Roy Hodgson. Everyone needed a scapegoat for Hodgson, and here was Konchesky. He played for Hodgson the year before, and Hodgson kinda brings him along like a kid with a safety blanket. Of course he's going to look bad, he's like the staple player of Hodgson's team! I say we give him a chance if he stays, but if not, like everyone is saying, wish him luck.

Is anyone going to ban "Sir Bob The Greatest Manager Of Them All"? He's obviously as thick as 2 wooden planks.
