HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! <magic> <magic> <magic>

With the demise of my favourite streaming sight does anyone have suggestions of where else to go? Also, could you tell me how to install adblocker? Do I just google it to find it? I am unable to cope with anything to complicated! Many thanks.

The bedroom broadcasters aren't going away. The links will appear in one form or another.

Bloodzeed is one of us and he always streams on AceStream acestream://e8f810a29314aaa176d9c0de6d70fe9e301233a0

It's now cheaper to rent a VPN in India and stream EPL games from there, rather than pay for Sky Sports...
Thanks Inda. Do I have to download Bloodzeed, if so how? Cheers.

Bloodzeed is the name of the Spurs fan and the name of his channel. He uses software called AceStream which can be downloaded here: http://dl.acestream.org/products/acestream-full/win/latest

Once installed, copy and paste the address into your browser:

acestream://e8f810a29314aaa176d9c0de6d70fe9e301233a0

He's showing the stoke vs man u game at the moment. Give it 2 or 3 minutes for the stream to 'warm up'.

That's three of my back-ups that I don't think have been mentioned yet. Thanks for those other links, everyone - just bookmarking some of them.

Thing I liked about wiziwig was it gave you an idea of the quality of the stream and of the language of the commentary. Any of the others have that?

Also: Inda - I told you before that Ace Stream started crashing on me and, despite one uninterrupted game, it still is. Could it possibly have anything to do with having VLC player installed? (this is not a new thing, though - I've always had it). Could they clash? (This might seem horribly naive but I'm just not sure what the relationship is between these bits of software - they have pretty much the same icon. Or does Ace Player link to whatever piece of software you choose to link it to and hence also use that icon? Is that why it looks like a blue version of the VLC icon?). Hmm - maybe I should see if VLC is up to date...

Also (another silly question) - when I copy and paste that address into my address bar for Bloodzeed I can't save it in my bookmarks like a normal address can I? Do I have to save it as a bit of text in a Word document or something and cut/paste every time?

I used to love having that uninterrupted, crystal-clear stream from Bloodzeed...

(Though the stream you put the link up for for the Chelsea game was excellent Inda - thanks).

I have many different versions of VLC installed. I doubt it's that. It's one of the joys of VLC - everything needed [for AceStream] is included in one package.

Only ever had minor issues with AceStream and updating it solved them. Maybe uninstall Acestream, delete any remaining files in "Program files", then reinstall.

What sort of crash btw? Black screen? Hung application? Maybe update your graphics chip drivers?

Tough one.

That was a nice HD link for our game. :emoticon-0100-smile

Thanks Inda - just checked the graphics drivers - all up to date. Have already deleted Ace and re-installed. The crash is a message coming up saying "Ace Player has stopped working" and if I click on "details" then I get something like "The application has crashed". Though I did only delete Ace through the control panel/manage software thing - didn't go into programs and make sure it was all gone - might try that.

Not sure about the bookmark thing, not that it really matters. But when I put the address for Bloodzeed in my address bar it automatically opens Ace Player but the the address which was in the address bar just goes and I end up bookmarking "blank page". Like I said - not really a problem, though. I just saved the text on a Word document and I'll keep that handy.

I've looked several times via searches to see if anyone else has the same crashing problem and found absolutely nothing - so little in fact that it gave me the impression that Ace Player really is a very niche bit of software with very little general use. But, like Harry Kane being loaned out to Norwich but barely getting a game, I will plug away and keep trying to make this work!

My Ace Stream just continues to buffer for the most part when I use it and when it does work, I'm about 2-3 minutes behind real time, that's why when we play away and I'm not going, I'll use a flash stream, usually between Nutjob or Stadium-Live, quality isn't great but it's close to real time and watchable for me. Bloodzeed did mention about buying a VPN as that will wipe out buffering but being the cheapskate that I am, I don't really want to be paying out for one.
