Following Rollercoaster's resignation, I have been modding the board alone for a few weeks. Being that this board receives the third highest traffic on this site, this has become difficult for me to monitor and at the same time to try and enjoy being a regular poster on here. Therefore I'm pleased to announce that both Beth and Tramore have been appointed as Mods on our forum. I'm sure you will all welcome both of our new Mods and demonstrate a degree of patience with them while they adjust to their new status's and undergo a period of induction. We are just waiting for the SuperMods to upgrade their status. They have both been members since we migrated from the old BBC 606 site in 2011 and are well respected with our on-line community. They both possess the ability to tune in to what's going on behind the scenes without a word from me. This is often at times when others struggle to understand what's been said time and time again. Not only that, but what goes before them is their care for the harmony of the board as a whole and willingness to share their understanding for no other reason than simply to help out. Which has been very much appreciated by me. As there are now three of us, you can be assured that the board shall continue with minimum mod interference, and anyone with concerns about over-modding needn't be worried. Some of the main reasons for me in deciding to have three mods is to spread the workload and the need to cover absences and in transitional periods in times such as now with the introduction of the new forum software. Whilst it'll obviously take three mods longer to arrive at agreed decisions than it did with two (accessibility being the main reason), Both Beth's and Tramore's naturally calm and rational demeanour will help no end in keeping people informed of the whys and wherefores of some of our actions and deliberate inactions taken on our board. Great choices may I say, and congrats to both new incumbents, Tramore and Beth, and may the workload be easy upon ye. I'm pretty useless at predictions as my BrixtonR score count will testify, but even I saw this one coming a mile off!

Good choices Nines, both of the new mods have complete respect from all on this board (don't think I've ever seen a bad word said about either of them). Hopefully this board can now continue to float along in the happy zone that I'm floating in at the moment at 3:20am on Hogmanay - not looking forward to the morning, but thats hours (and many more drinks) away...... Two excellent posters and calm, rational people to hopefully do very little but add to their already valued input. The onus is on us to make that possible by not waylaying them with extraneous mopping up that we can address ourselves. Best of luck to you both although, as posters I respect greatly, I'm not sure luck is needed. The pair of you and Nines make a very solid team that will undoubtedly serve this forum brilliantly.
