says a lot doesn't it,Millwall want to improve their team by signing a player whose not good enough for a regular Leeds place.
A wendie told me this morning that Tom Lees is their player of the season so far..... Gggggggrrrrrrrrr
he has made 84 appearances for you lot now he wants out he is ****e funny how all the players that leave are crap and all your new signings are quality easy to see why you are promotion contenders now all the crap as gone
Norwich.....mmmmmmmmmmm...let me think..... aaaah yes, I remember now, they are a small club from the provinces who have a feeder club in West Yorkshire.......... is this the same Norwich that you are talking about Norman ?
You can take virtually any of our starting 11 and I will tell you that you are welcome to them as they are ****e, there is a reason why we are just a point above the relegation zone.
Bit over the score re. the players. I'll say no more on the matter. As for 'the reason', it has evaded several managers and Chairmenn for a decade, and even the fans can't decide what 'the reason' is. If we knew what it was, we could act on it. Personally, I think you've oversimplified it.
The table does not lie Silvestri - poor Byram - over rated would not care if we sold would prefer to keep Bellusci - average can go Cooper - above average would keep Warnock - best we have had but too old can go Cook - keep Bianchi - poor Mowatt - over rated but would keep Austin - poor Doukara - poor Antenucc - average can go Sharp - below average can go Adryan - over rated would keep though Tonge - poor Berardi - poor Now I would not allow everyone to leave or how do you ever start building a consistent team but there are 15 players listed above that you could consider our most regular players. Nine of them I would be happy to show the door to, I personally believe Byram, Cooper, Mowatt, Bellusci, Cook and Adryan are the only ones I would try to keep. However I believe we can do better than Mowatt, Byram and Adryan so if they wanted to leave or the price was good I would not care if they were sold. As for Adryan yes I would keep him but not if the fee really is £3m
On the occasions I have seen Leeds this season ( onle a few games on the box and also live at the Den) the best of your foreign imports and the only one that deserves a starting place is Antenucci, with the right kind of service he would score quite a few goals. The rest of your foreign imports are not up to it. Cooper, Cook, Austin and Mowatt are/could be solid Championship players, but your stand out player is Warnock. If the rest of the team showed the same spirit as Warnock you would be comfortably mid table, even if they are sub standard.
I so hope that you don't get a shot at manager, Ristac. I also wonder what your view would be if you actually attended games on a regular basis (not a personal attack, btw, it's just that tv/radio presents a single perspective, i.e. eye of the camera, whereas actually being at the match allows you to observe what's happening off the ball e.g. shape, marking, creating space, making yourself available etc.). This is my view (in bold)..... Silvestri - poor (Great start, but has had his confidence shaken. Who could blame him with the organisation in front of him? He will recover) Byram - over rated would not care if we sold would prefer to keep (He may have been over-rated in his first season, but has been unfairly slated ever since. He consistently offers us width on the right hand side when we attack - many, many times per game. We have used no other width option) Bellusci - average can go (Au contraire. Although a bit of a hothead at times, he is remarkable cool when on the ball. Could easily play in midfield. Good header, tackler, marker, and a danger going forward too! Why on earth would you call him average? Defence is organised with him in the middle, especially as Pearce has now been dropped in favour of Cooper). Cooper - above average would keep (Is this a Ristac compliment?) Warnock - best we have had but too old can go People with ageist views like this think a player is done at 30. He's doing great and is worth a new annual contract, until the point that he becomes backup only. Cook - keep I'd say rest, oddly enough Bianchi - poor Disagree, but acknowledge that he's not doing so well now that he's being played out of position. Mowatt - over rated but would keep Never been a favourite of mine, but agree we should keep - and rest too. Austin - poor I think you've been over-generous here Doukara - poor Another one who's been played out of position, and it's affecting his confidence. Doubt anyone would buy him, so keep by default. Antenucc - average can go One of our best players. Most certainly not average. Sharp - below average can go Agree!!! Adryan - over rated would keep though Over rated by whom? 'Show Pony' is a common description & not particularly endearing. Shows loads of potential, & has inconsistent flashes of brilliance. But he's young, so keep in my book (if he wants to, which seems to be in some doubt atm). Tonge - poor I think Tonge has been excellent when asked to play. Despite not being match fit, he's been at the heart of all things good in midfield. I'd keep him another year, for the same reasons as Warnock). Berardi - poor Give the lad a chance. He's not had the chance to have a run of games (self-inflicted reds didn't help, right enough), so how can you possibly rate him?
Silvestri - Flaps around far too much, will he recover? I accept you believe he will but I don't Byram - Number one task is to defend, far too many crosses come in from his side, he is constantly beaten for pace Bellusci - I accept what you are saying but he is not better than average for this division Cooper - Keep Warnock - I have lept to his defence all season and last when he was knocked, he is 33 not 30 and I do believe he can only go downhill from here Cook - I would not have him starting every game, keep but not start Bianchi - Really do not see what he offers that is anything special Mowatt - Same as cook Austin - We agree Doukara - Still maintain he has zero to offer this team Antenucci - One of our best I agree but someone has to be and he is average Sharp - We agree Adryan - In his homeland, Adryan is nicknamed herdeiro de Zico meaning 'heir of Zico' 'Adryan's style of play has been compared to that of Brazilian compatriot Kaká, due to his skill and playmaker ability' and at £3m he is overrated Nothing personal but if these players were as good as you believe then why are we 1 point above relegation, why have we had fewer chances on goal than every other team apart from Charlton. I realise you go to games, mates of mine do to and if you think I am being unfair you should hear them when they get back from a game. I can only go on what I see on TV, live feeds and commentary and of course, results.
Nothing personal but if these players were as good as you believe then why are we 1 point above relegation, why have we had fewer chances on goal than every other team apart from Charlton. This is the key question, and it hasn't been answered for the last decade or so! By anyone.
How refreshing to see Leeds fans acknowledging how poor there team is When i say the same things on LUFC Talk i get banned after 10 minutes Cheers Sheepy
