http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b04w08p6 Built around the earliest, until now unseen, footage of the Clash in concert, filmed by Julien Temple as they opened the infamous Roxy club in a dilapidated Covent Garden on January 1st 1977, this show takes uson a time-travelling trip back to that strange planet that was Great Britain in the late 1970s and the moment when punk emerged into the mainstream consciousness. I know there are a few fellow original punks on here. Set those vcrs!
Deffo be setting the VCR for that. Betamax natch. Thanks Happy. Happily, you've made me happy Happy. Happy, a happy new year to you.
You're welcome fellas. I'm having an Indian tonight. Then a few sherberts so yeah, happy times! I'm also if the belief we're going to do Everton 3 or 4 to 1 followed by exacting revenge on the Arse. Always happy!
Cheers. This is my all time favourite song: which has happy in the title. A much under-rated talent IMO.
Darjeeling near the George. Gonna go to the newly reopened but not new and **** Falcon after. Place where Cromwell recruited his army apparently but main draw is "we don't serve any of that yellow fizzy crap, only proper beer".
Darjeeling not great. Bongo was the best. I stayed at Coach n Horses, cant remember name of the restaurant underneath it. But the owner owned it and Bong and he said Bongo's the best. Falcon the long narrow place in the Square? Thats good I signed the campaign to re open it
It's much better now. Yeah that's the falcon, thanks for your support! Was always a proper boozer. I don't mind wetherspoons etc but prefer these type of bars.
