ok so 2 weeks ago I challenged my 9 year old step son to a running race, half way through the race I decided to try and cheat which lead to me tripping over and falling on my arm (i was in agony).

The first idiotic thing I did was self diagnose a sprained wrist THEN the second idiotic thing I did was think to myself "Well a player can be back in light training in two weeks on football manager with a sprained wrist so it wont be that bad"

it's two weeks later and I still can't lift anything heavy, my elbow hurts and my shoulder hurts... I might have to actually go and see a doctor if this continues

I was once playing tick with my kids and was in my bare feet, they ran out of the front door and down the side of the house and back in through the back door.

As they ran in one of them slammed the door behind them,so i put my hands up to stop my head going through the window and my foot forward to stop the door.

My head never went through the glass but i broke 3 toes.

    Ouch!

I can advise but i'll need you to clear up a few things. Firstly is this a red injury or an orange injury? Do any of your family have high stats in physio, motivation or adaptability (not sure what this means really) as this will improve recovery time. Are you frustrated to be injured but optimistic for the future?

I'm sure if I played Premier Manager, I would appreciate this post even more... But as it is, I find it to be quite hysterical, consider yourself repped!

I'm not quite sure you guys are playing with your kids right. If you have to take a trip to the hospital after every play session then perhaps you need to re-evaluate the way you do it.

I did this, but it was an ex-girlfriend that slammed the door, I didn't stop it with my foot though so lots of blood and stitches.

It's an orange injury meaning I can be brought off the bench for big games (although it is a gamble). My injury history is quite minimul with a broken leg when I was 20 and a twisted knee when I was 23 (Although I played through the twisted knee so it was never a red injury)

and yes I am frustrated to be injured but optimistic for the future, I also want to move to a bigger club

I was once playing with a mate's kid - a spoiled Malaysian prince, actually - and pretend-swordfighting with table knives. Eventually I said, "OK, enough" and went to take the knife off him. He shouted "No" and pulled the knife away, right through my finger to the bone. My fingernail still grows slower on one side.

Please, please, please don't tell cameron about the diagnostic skill of Premier Management - he'll cut the NHS budget even more!

2 weeks, well you are not 19 and dont have a bunch of doctors and physios working on you.

Cant hurt getting an x-ray as you could have a micro fracture in your humerus but most likelt you have ligament damage, thats why it hurts when your muscles pull tight when lifting, maybe some cartilage damage too, see a doc, two weeks.. YES. yES YOU ARE A DICK:)

Hope its all benign matey<ok> Good luck

Did your kid finish the race before tending to the injured cheater:)

fm11 is on STEAM right now for just 13.99... get it! you know you want to! =)

ive just started a game as liverpool with the latest patch, so i've got the same squad as we have now basically. (Except Henderson)

Currently debating which players to try and buy out of Mata, Jose Enrique, Hazard, Cazorla, Adam Johnson, Perotti, Elia, Jovetic, Cissokho, Gervinho...

also tempted to try to bring back Arbeloa or Riise to cover the LB position.

Of course, have stuck Konchesky & Poulsen on the transfer list and into the reserves immediately!

Joe Cole and Jovavanovic are getting a chance just coz they're not terrible on the game, stats wise... jova actually has a lot of pace.

oh and if anyone plays fm11 and enjoys watching the 3d view, you may find this thread rather interesting...

I couldn't get anyone to buy Konchesky when i did the same. Had to keep him as a sub for a year then sell him dirt cheap. Oh and he was an absolute liability, unprecedented number of howlers. Jova can actually do a job up front on it, worth a season.
