OK so yeah more newspaper SPECULATION has popped up over the last few days, that nonce phil mcnulty has again jumped on the so obvious the blind can see it bandwagon about arsenal, but hey gunners lets just wait and actually see what happens eh. Would like to start a thread that doesn't involve rumor and deals with fact and i guess sensible opinion is welcome too!

PS if i have offended anyone who is blind iam sorry, but my brain dont work so good without tea

Whilst I respect the opinions of some of those that are worried, I concur with the sentiment of this post.

We've been written off for years, but still constantly challenge and continuously qualify for the CL every year. There are probably only 17 clubs who would rather be in our position over the last 6 years.

It wouldn't be fun being an Arsenal fan if we couldn't moan all the time

    Lighten up bebe!

There's not much to be depressed about really, just that our captain and at least 4 other key players rumoured to want out (Nasri, Walcott, Arshavin and RVP), in addition to Clichy who has already gone. Apart from that everything is at the club is rosy and tickety boo. Wilshere maybe a tad trouble prone and Song is rumoured to be facing a 2 year jail term (allegedly).

On the plus side we haven't signed anybody yet and the ticket prices have only gone up 6.5%. I'd say we have everything to be deliriously happy about.

Myself personally i am waiting to see who you sign with the money you get for nasri clichy and cesc, then I will judge, I cant beleive people are writing you off, when firstly you havent actually sold fab or nasri yet, OR signed their replacements

I've read a ton of **** over the last few weeks, about Arsenal and just about every other team. Comparing their stories to actual events - you could be mistaken for believing that some of it isn't quite the whole truth.

I'll wait until the end of the transfer window before I judge what I think about our team and our chances. <ok>

I think you'll find we charge lower prices for many of our seats than a lot of premiership clubs

The good news for you lot is that there's a seemingly limitless supply of young talent from France. Wenger will still unearth gems from time to time.

if we look across the league only united and sunderland have really signed players! And all united have done really is replace players who have retired!

I will admit that I am one that is desparate to see a signing of top quality but i think we have to be resigned to waiting a few more weeks yet - unless Mr Wenger surprises us all.

Exactly! We only have money from selling Clichy. I will believe the others if they happen, but there is absolutely no point speculating. The papers know as much as we do about the truth, but they have an ulterior motive - to sell more of their worthless lies.
Phil McNulty (self proclaimed expert) as usual is putting the boot in while trying to appear concerned, but read it carefully and it's just speculation: 'it seems' Cesc is leaving... Nasri 'may' be Manchester bound..Arshavin 'is said' to be unhappy...

Etc Etc. This is what they do and there is no concrete proof. I can say anything 'may' happen and I'm not lying, as it may well happen. Can't be wrong there, eh Phil? But you can tell he loves our so-called predicament really. Does he ever refer to the Manc boss as anything but "Sir Alex' while ours is the rather disrespectful 'Wenger'? Would he be so gleeful if it were Ferguson who hadn't won for 6 years, or if any other team had a manager who had been at their club so long but not won (remember, other teams get through managers at a rate of knots so it's harder to criticise a particular individual- they are replaced and forgotten)? A token compliment at the end to 'prove' he's on our side really, but see through the fake concern and it's just another news outlet sensationalising what is (FACT) just one departure.

Honestly im super happy im not the only one who sees Mcnulty for what he is, he has done nothing but stick the boot into Arsenal whenever he can. And despite his not so clever play on words he is still stupidly biased, how he is the chief football writer ill never know
