One hits the deck and grizzles, one gets on with it.One plays for a once big side, one plays for little olde Swansea.
Double standards, plus remember Lamellas swipe out at Montero laying him out, oh nothing for that one either
It's what we've come to expect though isn't it. What I find crazy is that the refs/linesman's excuse post match was that they didn't see Stirling hit Fernandez. Yet the FA are not charging Sterling because they claim the officials did see it.
****ing hypocrites plain and simple. Did they do cisse for his three elbow assault on the defender before the goal he scored.
There was only one dangerous play amongst the ones in question from our game imo and that was Shelveys elbow so for me I understand the decision
Seems they couldn't wait, four match ban rushed through and issued. Trial by television, verdict was decided before charge issued..
But if you take into account the 3 elbows that cisse threw then why does shelvey get an extra game if he had been done for something previously this season but i dont think he has correct me if i am wrong
Cheers never gives us an excuse anyway carroll in alongside ki for the next month and a bit of stability in the league
One less collective groan when the team sheet is read out ahead of the next four games. Just read Pardew is interested in Shelvey ... taxi
Couldn't help but notice the club's comment: . This avoids dropping him and makes selection easier. It also puts some distance between his last game and the end of the transfer window. The one bad thing is that the suspension dilutes the impact of Monk's message - Monk cannot now drop him since he can't play. The QPR game is going to be interesting in midfield. Ki will start as will Sig. I am going with Carroll over Leon since he did not play on Monday. The rest picks itself. The FA Cup game against Tranmere is going to be another interesting line-up. Will we feature top players or start our bench plus some U-21.
