It has reached that time when we approach the end of another year. As always, we go forward without some we dearly loved but we carry precious memories with us. To all my friends (whatever your political beliefs) I hope 2015 brings you freedom. Freedom from illness, Freedom from pain. Freedom from oppression, Freedom from chains. Freedom of speech, Freedom to roam. Freedom of choice of where you call home. Love to receive, loving to give. Caring in death but a full life to live. Pride to look back on the good things you've done, on the footsteps you trod, and know that you won. As the door opens wide to another new year and some only pass through as fond memories and tears, the circle rolls on and new life will be born. We can build them a better world to live on. So lets embrace when we meet, and smile when we part, and I give you this toast with all of my heart.... "Slainte! my friends. To 2015 and to Scotland, St. Andrew and Freedom."
Happy New Year all... fireballs I reckon tonight and to BB thanks... especially thankful that 2015 brings freedom from Salmond and I get the opportunity to vote straight against the obnoxious man in my constituency, was even thinking of standing but don't want to dilute the opposition, tactical vote coming up..
