The engine of the new site is very good and a massive leap from the old ****er Swords if you right click on the spanner then you should get a nice collection of men dressed in ladies clothing … get your tissues ready
Another new feature that I've noticed is that when you're responding to a thread, a notification pops up above your box informing you of any additional posts that have appeared since you opened the thread.
Is it possible to tone down the clashing colours - seems like someone has chosen to use as many as possible to identify different types of post - makes the homepage look utterly chaotic Edit... Also the red... wtf is that all about... Why not the blue of the page numbers?
if you click on the coloured tags like 'Off Topic', 'Transfer Rumours' etc, all the threads in the relevant category are shown. Brilliant! Now I just need a reason to use it.
I can't sign in at the moment on Chrome, I'm using the Opera browser for the time being. This was not a problem two hours back! This is not a problem for me but just thought I would put it out there!
I can log in with chrome now but had to turn off ghostry to do so. I'm just putting this here as I know Mick is tinkering with the site and this sort of info may be of use to him. Carry on!

Just keep clicking reply on each of the ones you want to quote - they start stacking up in your original reply box.
Having a quick look at your first page that might be less of an issue if you had a single thread for all the transfer rumours rather than a separate one for each rumour. Not trying to tell you how to run this forum, it's just we've had a sticky each transfer window to keep them all together. It also means when there's no mod online we don't get a cluttered board because 3 people respond to the same piece on SSN by starting a new thread at the same time. Since the change of forum we've not had anybody complaining about the the identifying colours which is presumably due to us having less threads that are using the identifying tags.
That'll be my fault for experimenting with the new tags. This is the first chance I've had to play around with it. My apologies.
Nines - not trying to have a go - was more of an observation. Re: the red, is it possible to change this colour? A predominantly blue/grey colour scheme would help to tone things down, with blue for the titles/unread/buttons and the existing dark grey for the body text. The the darker blue of the Not606 logo would work beautifully if it is possible. Cheers
As a Hull supporter no way you could be expected to know this Ric, but a chaotic, confused appearance, repeating the same mistakes endlessly and an anarchic approach is the way we do things at QPR. It's like herding cats, Nines has the patience of a saint. Personally I like it, and the loud title tag colours. Kiwi loves the tags.
Two things that continue to happen for me: 1) Some threads still take a long time to load. 2) When I type a post, there's a delay as the text catches up on the screen.
You may the early signs of Alzheimer: Things look small and far away? then they get bigger when they come towards you? See two of things at times … the colours of winter look more vintage than you can remember Low sun through the trees while driving gives the illusion you are in a time machine? The finishing beep on your washing machine seems to go off 20 seconds after you loaded in the clean ironed washing you did yesterday
Also SB you are forgetting he is from the Hull board. They only have 2 colours up their anyway as everything is in black and white..
