I'm going to play Devil's advocate here... I think Adryan could be a really good player. He could be one of the best players in the world. They did call him the next Neymar However... He won't do it with us and he won't do it under Celino. If he was somewhere else he could make it but not with this set up
2014 - We haven't managed to average 1 point a game this year. Continue that in 2015 and we are relegated, Cellino's signings and decisions are poor, results speak for themselves. You disagree with everything I say (LCW) yet on another thread I predicted we would get 6-7 points, I said that would put us on the cusp of relegation and I am right, we got 7 points and we are 1 point above safety. Last year when we were 5th before Christmas I said we were batting above our station, I was one of the first to turn against McD and I said when we were 5th I expect a mid to bottom half finish and I was right then as well. This isn't me trying to be an ass, pessimistic or argumentative, just stating the obvious as I see it. The last dozen years have been dross for Leeds fans and it isn't going to change with Cellino in charge...
I don't think we were at that point, I said this before that Celino was sniffing round the club by the FA Cup 3rd round club and that's what caused the slump over the last 12 months.
I am grateful for him stepping in when he did but you could say the same about Bates. It didn't mean we were forever indebted to him did it? Is this an opinion or a fact, the £100m I mean, if a fact please provide proof as I thought it was nearer £20m and when you consider he got a nice chunk from the sale of Ross.... Oh and how much are we making a month now?
And you trust Hollowhead to get you some decent players in its old loanees and journeymen no **** else wants for you Wallies I'm afraid
Stayed up last night to watch that bunch of clueless over paid players they class them selves as footballers, boy we were bad, second best in every department, we are relegation material guys, and that is so sad. We are going to loose an academy coach into the bargain as Redfern is out of his league, Cellino has to wise up and get a manager in before its too late, as that was absolute ****ing garbage, and i shall not be staying up again no matter what, totally ****ed.
Buy ? not going to happen is it ? you have to get players in while cutting the wage bill by 5.7 million. So players will have to sign for half the peanuts you pay your currant Monkeys.Millwall scouts going to lots of pub games I recon.
The £100 million is not an opinion or a fact, its just a number, that I thought you and Glory might like to stump up.I mean you do have a plan dont you since you guys are slagging the 1 person trying to sort the mess our club is in.To say I want him gone but have no alternative is just plain stupid and no help to the club at all.
I wonder if we'll manage to beat Rochdale next season? Sad fact is we're going down! The fans know it and after watching that shower last night, the players certainly know it!! I didn't want Redfearn in charge in the first place and he's proving that he's way out of his depth with the job in hand. It's not entirely his fault though. Some of the signings we've made are woeful. Doukara is the laziest player I've seen since Brolin and someone needs to show Bellusci how to defend. We've been unlucky with own goals and conceding penalties but none of that would matter if we actually could attempt to score or put a shot on goal. I resigned to the fact that we would get relegated weeks ago. Doesn't make it any easier but at least I've accepted it.
Hi guy's few months since I posted, been busy and then had trouble with bugs on the old site. Very worrying at the minute, we aren't creating half enough going forward and because we don't have the squad ability of other sides its inevitable we are going to concede being under pressure so long in games. I would say at times like this to start trying to build solid foundations at the back and hope we nick goals here and there because unfortunately this season we have no striker capable of hitting 20+ goals, it's easier said than done but I would be hoping that getting the side focussed on defending first and foremost as a unit will at least keep us up because right now it look's gloomy and I would rather win games 1-0 and draw 0-0 than lose..it isn't pretty but at this stage it's all about adapting to survive. I hope Redfearn and the player's start pulling in the one direction from here on in.
Milanic had started to do exactly that, start from the back, focus on defending and hope to nick a goal here and there, and it was the right way to go about it. Trouble is the guy barely had time to unpack his suitcases before he was sacked. If he's still on the payroll, and apparently he is, get him back in as coach. It won't be pretty but we'd pick up a few more points than we currently are, and we'd be a more solid unit.
It's been far too hectic this season in terms of management/leadership, I bet the players think WTF is going on here and I'd imagine Redfearn is finding it hard to have the respect from the player's he needs to get them playing well, the way he has been treated it is bound to have affected the player's opinions in different way's. It's as confusing for player's as well as coaches and a lot of key things get lost in translation due to everyone being unsure of where they stand. I know it's probably been well debated the past few months but as I said I haven't been around here much.
