Over the last 6. 100% factual. Chelsea have stuttered when they lose 1 player never mind 6 or 7. City Yes we've been incredibly lucky with our 46 separate injuries. How they have helped us game by game. That has in no way had ANY effect on our ability to play to the level we are capable of and it is entirely down to luck that we have not lost for quite sometime, while beating a number of our direct rivals for the top 4 along the way. Its also entirely down to luck that our goalkeeper happens to be the best in the league. How lucky he has been to have such an inconsistent defence in front of him. Ability and skill play no part obviously. We didn't destroy Liverpool without any of our summer signings. How lucky that they were all out. Incredible luck. What you clearly 'unlucky' ****ers don't seem to grasp is we've been playing with our arms and our legs tied behind our backs all season. Handicapped game after game due to a ridiculous injury list. All the while Chelsea have had a full strength side in every game, including cup games. City have had it a little worse. Losing Silva, Aguero and Kompany for periods of time but nothing close to ours. You've had Sturridge out... Heres a list of United players who have not been injured for more than 2 games this season. De Gea van Persie Wilson Mata Rooney It was easier to compile than a list of players who have been injured.
FFS some of you lot complaining about United luck and dodgy decisions are like a broken record that's been stuck for 25 years. For your enjoyment as it's probably what it sounded like in some of your homes when you were watching the game!
Dread to think what happens when we are unlucky seeing as we are so obviously lucky just now. I personally blame Fergie, or Gill, or Cantona. Or Fred. **** you Fred
So no other side has had problems in the 1st half of the season then? I confidently expect you to be seriously found out in the second half of the season and to finish no higher than last season.
All sides have injuries. Not on the sort of scale we have though. These are not just injuries to bit part players who dont play anyway. These are to first 11 players. We may well be found out. Not how you envisage though.
You mean your hoping like **** to hang on to third spot a while longer and stave off the chasing pack
Just hope we dont catch ebola. We've been rally lucky so far to avoid the outbreak but our luck cant hold much longer.
There is no need to as results will test my prediction. Experience tells me that it is people who are either desperate or lack skills who have to resort to gambling. It is certainly those who lack education that resort to your type of comments.
Dave, this is your standard lame bollocks backtracking after one of your ill thought through, finger wagging predictions. If you didn't make these bold statements that you're too limp wristed to back up then you wouldn't need to tie yourself up in knots trying to prove that it's actually everyone else who needs to justify their opinions. For someone who likes to brag about how academically gifted they are you are incredibly schooled at making yourself look like a fool! It doesn't need to be a financial bet, you've made it clear that you don't have the faith in your predictions to put your money where your mouth is. We can have a sportsman's bet with a forfeit. United to finish 7th or below. I say they won't, you say they will. You can pick the forfeit. Get that supercharged academic brain working!
TBF the only person he's responded to is NoDickDave with the 3rd place finish, and if UIR deserves that then so does that ignoramus with every post he's made. Anyway one thing I do agree on, it's always good to laugh at Spurs!
While I think Dave 's judgement is more emotional than rational, I think UIR's is too. How can United be nailed on for 3rd? Yes they are favourites but that does not mean that others can't have a run or they themselves might not stumble. The beauty of it all is that no one can be sure. Rodgers would have preferred last season's position at this stage rather the current one but no doubt he'll have to work harder. For me what Rodgers need to resolve is Gerrard's position within the club and team. Does he remain integral to the team or is he now to play a bt part? He cannot let that fester for too long.
We already stumbled. Weve long since recovered and been incredibly lucky since..... apparently....... Imagine how lucky we will be when players are back from injury..... buckets of luck spilled everywhere. 1000's of decisions our way. So lucky
Apparantly one draw away against 4th place Southampton means we are bottling it. Top of the league 3 points clear, and bottling it..... Leaving out the fact that City drew at HOME to relegation fodder Burnley!! Surely thats more evidence that they are bottling it?
You're wasting your time. He'll never back up his blindly biased bullshit, with anything other than his bitter bluster. The man's the dictionary definition of the word gobshite
Of course they will. They are showing exactly that now while a fairly poor city side stroll on.... Chelsea have been at their very best and City are nowhere near yet how many points are in it? I will let you work it out
How may points ahead of City were you a few weeks ago? City have had no Aguero, Kompany, Yaya, Silva for long periods this season and have clawed back this lead..... Standard city. Not pretty, not exciting but relentless. They dont even have a striker ffs. Not one fit. James Milner has been playing up front the past few weeks....
