I wonder if the 'loan/buy' contracts are exempt from the embargo, on the basis that they've been signed pre-embargo? Depends on the wording, but it might be that the permanent signing is the end game of the contract, with either or both teams having an opt out at the end of the loan part of the deal. Thoughts?

I was thinking this. Possibly if you can prove that you've made the deal before the embargo is place on you and you can prove it can the FA turn around can't and say No Embargo?. I'm guessing that Celino knew this embargo was coming up when he had the accountants in during the summer. So has Celino bought players over the course of the first half of the season before the embargo was place on us giving us new permanent player when the window opens. Like I said it's guess work
