Carver and/or Beardsley until the end of the season for me. In the Summer we will hopefully have someone in place.
Fatty is in the process of selling so will want a clean slate for the new owners.

If you've spent enough quality time in the North East you should know the answer mate.

If this bottom feeder of a manager comes in I'll fight BRS for a go on Satans wart encrusted war hammer just after I burn my JPF doll which sits next to my bed.

This is the way to go. We aren't going down, we aren't going to get into Europe. Let's have a long term plan to be the best we can. Personally feel we are on track to finish somewhere between 9th and 14th. Would personally say 11th.
How do you know he's in the process of selling? That said it really wouldn't surprise me.

It has to be McCoist, too much of a coincidence him being on gardening leave and Ashley's dealings with Rangers, my money's on the Jock/Mackem

Yeah, it would make perfect sense that someone who resigned and gave his notice in from his previous position because he couldn't work with Ashley, would want to work with Ashley!

I'm fully expecting Carver or Beardsley to take over duties until the end of the season at least. If they do a half decent job MA would then no doubt offer them the position permanently - they wont have to do a great job to get the offer, just an average one, but they'll be cheap and likely to do as they are told.

Nooooooooo not Nigel Worthington, can't think of a worse appointment with the exception of Roy Keane or Gary Megson.

Warnock or Holloway would be better, even just for the press conferences.

I've gone for 'Other' as it will almost certainly be somebody we didn't expect and nobody else expected. Only three names on that list would be an improvement on Pardew IMO, and of those one definitely wouldn't come and is unproven in England anyway, one is unproven in the top flight (and probably wouldn't leave his current project) and the other will be in the top flight anyway next season at a club he loves and is settled at.

I dread to think who is coming, but really fearful that it's not going to be long till we realise that things are not better under the new manager, but worse!

Again it's a timing thing. He wants in to Rangers badly and quickly.
One of the biggest issue for a new owner of our club would be being saddled with long term contracted management. The issue is now gone, fatty trousers £2m and the way is now clear for the sale.
My guess would be Qatari, Chinese or Indian investors.
the EPL is a big draw and with the US only just starting to embrace the game (the Americans are utterly mad for their sports) the market, and therein customer base will potentially double inside 10 years.

Think something will happen but when that is I don't know. Also think if he looking to sell the club he has to appoint a manager that fits into the current way of doing things. Best time to do that is in the summer. For me Pardew never really fitted into the way Ashley wanted the club to go. Proved this with players like Yanga-Mbwia.

I still don't think Ashley will want to buy Rangers instead of us -and if he does I don't understand why. The advertising potential with us is far bigger due to where Premier League games are broadcast compared to the SPL. They do have a far bigger fan base than us, but already a large part of that fan base is boycotting Sports Direct because of his involvement in Rangers, and his opposition to Dave King. They are far from guaranteed to get European football, and certainly not guaranteed Champions League football. Rangers cannot operate at a level where they are successfully competing in Europe on a regular basis and breaking even. Scotland only has one CL place - and that still needs 3 qualifying rounds to reach the group stages. The same applies for teams qualifying for the Europa League except that it is two qualifying rounds.
