It's a horrendous print and coupled with the sponsors logo cock-up, it looks a complete and utter joke.

Poor old Tiger stripe kit wasn't too bad!

And it doesn't go with the shorts either.

Speaking of shirt and short combos, I hate it when we wear the home shirt with white away shorts, looks hurrendous!

What was wrong with the sponsor? Memory fails. Apart from the guy who owned the company.

Didn't he own the club too? By the name of Christopher? Or was it just the family name behind the sweet company?

Think it was the same bloke (before my real understanding of things though). Wasn't it the Needlers though where one was good but died and when his son took over he was not so good?

Yes, Harold Needler was quite a hero in his day for the club, way before my time though.

His son, Christopher, gave about as much of a **** as I do for rugby union.

I always thought the Needlers owned Blue Circle Cement.

Pepi's went bust and we were so skint, we had to cover it on the existing kits with that massive Needler's logo.

There was no connection between the Needlers who owned Hull City and the Needlers who owned the sweet firm.

I'd personally make the permanent switch to white shorts, or at least experiment with it for a season.

Needlers owned the aggregates company - Hoveringham Gravels - whose trucks used to have orange cabs, with a mammoth on the doors. Was a big company but now gone.

That is my favorite shirt of all time, still looks good despite many years of wear too. The teletubby patch just adds to it, you can see the old sponsor underneath it if you turn it inside out.

Wearing that shirt has often gotten other fans to buy me a beer in various bars around the UK and the World too! Sometimes for *It's great to see someone support their hometown team* and *jesus christ you've got balls wearing such a hideous shirt* but hey, free beer is free beer and it's always good to talk bollocks about football with someone you've never met before!

Obviously I dont have the shorts, and wouldnt ever wear it tucked in too. Funny season that too when we had that shirt. Up and down like a whatsit we were.
