I don't think anyone would blame SB if he went to Newcastle as they are his home club & a much bigger one than us. However, I don' t think he will as he's currently working for the best owner he's ever had in that he's provided with the players he wants & left alone to do his job.

Be named Jawdie boss. I just think if he doesnt get it now he never will.

Last time he was a firefighter, appointed in a desperate situation when it was almost impossible to keep them up. Now a manager can come in under no real pressure - they aint going to go down and they arent expected to challenge seriously for European competition next season so they're very much mid-table. This is the perfect time to see if he can actually do the job.

It's a great job for someone now, it's not difficult to be loved by the fans following Pardew but he really hasnt left them in a bad position.

wouldn`t be surprised at all if Bruce went to Newcastle tbh, hometown lad in charge, and in all honesty they have a bigger funding pot then we`ll ever have. If he does get approached then I can see him jumping at the chance, which begs the question with Pullis having been formally approached by West Brom (sky sources), who the fk is going to take the challenge of taking over us at the minute ?

Bruce should publicly announce that he is ruling himself out of the Newcastle job.

 

Unfortunately, apart from finishing a job he started, I'm trying to think why he'd want to stay. One difficult chairman to another so nothing new. Bigger pot. Big crowd of passionate supporters. Childhood team. Hmmmm.

 

This maybe a very long shot, but given Ashley's Ranger's connection's , temp manager till McCoist's gardening leave is up.

 

Only problem I have with Bruce leaving is the high probability that he will come back and shark a load of players of us.

 

Why? He is weighing up his options - in business loyalty is for losers.
