But to be honest the swans were poor. Not unexpected as they are usually rank away from home.

Rodgers could have stumbled upon a good formation that makes the best use of his resources. He has discovered that his strikers are so useless that none deserves a starting place.

High time too. The arsenal and Southampton are motoring. It will be tough but I think Southampton and Arsenal will take 3rd and 4th in no specific order.

 

Can't see the Saints holding on all season somehow, and Arsenal aren't all that, but they have got loads of experience of battling to fourth spot... a few more decent performances and we could be in with a shout - a lot depends on how others strengthen in January!
