Yes, but it's the same level, surely? Didn't tell us all he had improved our squad? What's the TV deal got to do with it?

Aye you can watch off- ball stuff at the ground to see how players position themselves, but I rarely see that being discussed on here, to be honest, most follow the ball, don't they? The screen view is uninterrupted by standing, etc and, if you have it, then you can do your own instant replay or the program does it for you - as Party says, the angles are better too. Then there is the point of being there for all of the action, no late arrival, no prolonged piss breaks, not leaving to queue for the pie'n'pint, not late back, stay to the death and bollocks to the traffic.
Of course it is far more fun to attend, no one is saying otherwise, but, just as those who do attend often are reluctant to offer an opinion, or say they think that's what they saw (often wrong), watching a decent screen production live gives you a bloody good idea of what is what, quite often more so. <ok>

It was a campaign based on history. Kinda surprised you're denying that actually happened now...The PL and FA didn't undermine anything. They went for the path of least resistance that served their own purposes at the time. Both can easily be changed. A small and unpopular group of noisy fans dictated what happened and undermined everyone.

You are stating that MK Dons won the FA Cup? Interesting statement from you that. Having worked in MK for 7 years, and knowing a few MK Dons fans, none of them every believed that and were perfectly happy when that matter was cleared up by the FA. Still,m as ever, you seem to know best.

I hate to break it to you, but the reason he's been so successful in the past, in pretty much everything he'd done, is because he is used to and good at making decisions, short space of time or not. Thats a really a statement of the bleeding obvious in fact. Whatever he does will be lampooned or criticised by people who'll never amount to much but feel vindicated in their treating a great man in this manner.

You forgot to add your signature last bit of snide sneering: "Interesting times".

Having gone yesterday, I left feeling really let down. Everything about that game was baffling, from the team selection to the finishing. It's not been the season that most expected, that's for sure and it's going to be an interesting few days.

You have to look at it from Allam's point of view (as ridiculous as it probably is). He can either sack Bruce now and bring in some other manager to help steer us to safety, or keep him and hope to God we turn it around. On the evidence we've seen, it doesn't look likely that he will. Yes, we're missing a lot of players, but then the players we have to take their place need to be able to step up, otherwise why have them in the squad to begin with?

A new manager needs funds as he'll probably want to bring players in, but it also means a change in tactics and teams having to actually think about our formation instead of assuming we'll play 3-5-2 and being correct. The most important thing is staying up, that's obvious, but on the evidence of the first half of this season and the last half of last season, it's not looking to rosey.

I personally want Bruce to do well, he's a great guy and he's got a lot of respect from the players (for the most part, the defenders have had their say regarding Alex's selection) but if he isn't winning games, he can't expect to stay on as manager. The FA Cup final, Europe and survival were great, but we have to look forward. Relegation could potentially see us do a Wolves, Oldham or, worse, a Portsmouth and we don't want that. I'd take relegation if we put up a fight and lost, but in most of the games this season we've just rolled over and we haven't looked anywhere near as good as we should be. We know the players we have are good enough and the manager is the one that has to get them playing. If he can no longer do that, it's time for a fresh face. I don't know who you'd get in, if we're so into nepotism then Bob Bradley wouldn't be a bad shout, if only because he'd no doubt try and sign his son,

It was a campaign based on community, which is why it was so successful. Whilst the history of a community is an important part of its identity, its not the only part.

The FA had nothing to do with whether MK Dons won the FA Cup or not.

Winkleman gave it away and donated the replica FA Cup to Merton Council. Here's the link http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-MK-Dons-The-hunt-Crazy-Gangs-Holy-Grail.html

As far as the FA are concerned if MK Dons wanted to claim they won the FA Cup they are perfectly entitled to, as they did, until they decided it was no longer part of their history. They kept Wimbledon's football league status though.

Well, as I'm a fan who isn't deluded into the idea that being in the Premier League instantly makes your team massive like you seem to be, we are, in terms of size, a midtable to low Championship team at best.

Disgaree but on that basis we should still be beating the likes of AS Trencin & KSC Lokeren with relative ease!! Wigan the year they went down would be a prime example of my point!!

So you think beating lower teams should be a given?

'Fickle' really is an apt username for you.

Ps. We did beat Trencin, you arse. Also, Wigan went into the Group Stage automatically too, you idiot. And finished, unsurprisingly, bottom of their group, a group which contained a Slovenian, and like Lokeren, a Belgian team. So much for a 'prime example'.

We did our best to **** the Trencin ties up, the fact getting into the qualifying stages and then getting knocked out by a regular mid table Belgian team is an achievement shows the attitude of some of our so called fans.
