I'd go with that line up, possibly starting Ox on the right and bringing Walcott on later. Also I'd play Santi in the no10 position and move Rosicky back into MF, he's a tenacious tackler and offers a lot of energy in the middle of MF. Also, just wanted to thank you for doing the match threads this year OXO Much appreciated and it's thanks to your hard work that other users get to enjoy this board.
Schneiderlin's suspended, Clyne's injured so that's a problem for us. Not sure if we'll go back to 3-5-2 or play 4-2-3-1 like we did against Chelsea. Ward-Prowse will come in for Schneiderlin with either Yoshida or Alderweireld right back. Or maybe even a full debut for Jason McCarthy who came on against Crystal Palace. Expect Mane up front alongside or just behind Pelle where he's been excellent the last 2 games. Mane will certainly have a run or three at Mertesacker and he is definitely the player to watch as far as you're concerned.
I'd be tempted for the Coq-Flamini midfield again, and basically start with the same team as West Ham, or maybe bring in Podolski or Walcott in for OXO.
Thanks PISKIE. Just doing my job to help out around here since a certain someone isn't making the match threads anymore.
seeing you're front 5 on paper looks pretty daunting, i was confident of getting a result but if you start with that line up then i'm not so confident.
So glad that Kos is back - any combination of our back 4 looks so much stronger with Kos in it. And it's even better with Debuchy as well. We've got 4 days between games, so hopefully our players shouldn't be too tired - as such I'd expect Sanchez, Welbeck and Oxo (though would like him to be rested) upfront, with a midfield of Flamini, Rosicky and Cazorla (with Rosicky and Cazorla in front of Flamini, but dropping off when needed to support him). Back 4 the best of who is fit.
Szczesny, Debuchy, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs, Chambers, Coquelin, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Cazorla, Rosicky, Sanchez.
Hmmm, let's hope this team can be cohesive, lot's of changes, players who've never played together before (COQ-Chambers) in midfield, Cazorla-Rosicky starting together etc.
I don't like the look of the team at all. defensively solid.. but possession wise we will struggle due to the midfield. But hopefully Sanchez to the rescue
in advance... decent links to the game would be handy seeing as there's loads of 15:00 kick off's! Especially now Wiziwig is gone!!!! my input - http://www.stadium-live.biz/Channel12.html foreign but the pics good
