Women don't like a direct approach from someone they aren't interested in, but will be happy if they are interested.
Christ I thought I read the same story from PL years ago, if he hasn't learnt by now how to judge any situation involving women then the direct approach is his only option, that or buy a talking doll.
Tbf, I've never really been in a situation like this before. The closest was a girl I liked years ago (way before not606), but even that was quite different. In other news, Nigel Farage has been named Briton of the Year please log in to view this image
I've actually thought in the past that we could have one special thread called something like... Dear Deirdre, and PL could bump it every time he feels he needs some advice. It would be a very Saint-ish thing to do, to hand over one unique thread to a supporter from the blue. Then perhaps we could have our off-topic thread back. please log in to view this image
Sorry to be unkind, but PL would have trouble knowing what to say to a talking doll, unless it came (sorry) was accompanied by a set of key phrases to use at appropriate moments.
Yikes. Virgin Atlantic plane circling the south of England, after problems with landing craft. Going to have to make a landing on its belly at Gatwick. Good luck to all involved. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/t...happens-when-a-planes-landing-gear-fails.html
The speed of internet communication is shown where a newspaper article can be written and published while the plane is still in the air. And here's hoping that good luck actually exists..! Apparently now down and safe: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-30625945
I wrote into Dear Deirdre once. I made up that I had four children with four sisters. But I really fancied the mum of the sisters and she had come on to me. Oh and it was printed.
