I didn't mind Jose in the early days as he was a bit of a character, but now he's coming across as a whingeing ol prick. Going on about some stupid conspiracy when he forgets that his players, namely Costa, are dirty cheats?
This is the thing a lot of rival fans don't understand about Jose. He means literally nothing that he says.....when he opens his mouth, its to give Chelsea an advantage. He loves to **** with the press over here, it's like a game to him. Thats half the reason he came back to England, and why he loves it here, because our media lap it all up. In Spain their press have no sense of humour and were just outraged at everything he says. Do what I do, when Jose opens his mouth, just shake your head and ignore it.....because he is just ****ing with people.
So when Jose says there is a conspiracy theory against Chelsea he doesn't really mean it!? Lol the funniest thing about Jose is that he has fooled people into thinking he is something special. Once he loses his pseudo aura he ****s off. He deserted Chelsea once and I'm pretty sure he will do it again if Citeh put another nail in his managerial coffin.
This is where I agree with you, he does use a lot of psychology to get any advantage over the opposition. But there are acceptable ways of doing this and sometimes he's just plain wrong. Personally I think managers should keep quiet about refereeing decisions, it only makes things worse in the long run.
Pretty sure Jose was ousted the first time around. He left by "Mutual consent" which almost always means he was **** canned. Fooled people into thinking he is special? His record speaks for itself. No he doesn't mean it, he is just aware that because of a few dives our players have made recently, refs have cottoned on and are sceptical when a Chelsea player goes down. He is reverse psyching that situation by saying the refs are targetting us, meaning they will more than likely think twice before booking our players for diving or failing to award a penalty in order not to vindicate what he is saying...... He is talking ****......as he always had and always will......its part of his management technique...SAF was similar.
Fully agree (apart from the "few" dives comment) and made the same point on our board. His tactic is to make sure Chelsea get the benefit of the doubt in possible penalties. Wants refs to think twice before calling "dive".
Yup. Not sure why people are up in arms about it, its psychology 101, same as Fergie did when he was United manager. Nothing we can do about it, even if Jose gets a small fine for bringing the game into disrepute, in his mind that will pay for itself if we get half a dozen penalties throughout the season that gives us the edge over City to win the league..... People need to relax
The difference between Fergie and Maureen though is that refs were genuinely scared of Fergie and he knew that his mind games would work. He'd moan about refereeing decisions and then for weeks and months after you'd never see those decisions go against Utd again. So much so that it was commonly accepted that Utd used to 'win' another 10-12 pts per season with the favourable refereeing. With Maureen however, he just comes across as a whining little prick and I think Referees see straight through it. What makes it worse is that he is a total hypocrite. Only a couple of weeks ago he was telling the press that managers should keep quiet about ref decisions when one went in Chelsea's favour, to then having a little pissy fit as soon as one goes against him. He's off blubbling about a 'campaign' against Chelsea. It won't wash, people see Maureen for what he is.
Really? You think? You watch in the next few games, I bet we are awarded a contentious penalty.......or an opposition player is denied a blatant pen against us....you just see.
Calm down Denzil The likelihood of that happening is quite high anyway, regardless of how much of a Twunt Maureen makes of himself.
Quite funny to see pardew leave Newcastle on his own terms, poached by another club, when the fans spent ages calling for his head only to change there minds when he turned things around. Depending on who they get in next I bet a lot of them will be wishing they hadn't given him so much stick lol
I'm really surprised to see Pardew leave Newcastle for Palace. Although I do think Toon deserve a manager of better calibre, Klopp maybe ? I think Pardew has realised he can't really hack it at the top level, Palace is about his level so it's a good match. I think he'll get them playing some decent football
