Just a ?.. sorry if I missed a posting about this... Is there a prediction list for the 1st january, but It's only 3 days away, and Hull City play Everton at home... what's going on?
From TC. "Games come thick & fast between Boxing Day and Jan 3rd/4th's 3rd Round of the FA Cup. Friday Dec 26th...essentially a full set of fixtures across all 4 divisions. Sunday Dec 28th...likewise across all 4 divisions. Sat 3rd-Sun Jan 4th..FA Cup Rd 3...all Premier League & Championship teams involved plus sundry wannabe giant-killing clubs. There's also a full Premier League schedule of fixtures on Thurs Jan 1st, but no Championship, L1 or L2 games. Many participants are likely to be travelling, or at least be particularly busy over this period with family stuff etc, so this is what I'd like to propose for this intense period. 1) Ignore January 1st games entirely - no selections for that day. 2) Whoever selects fixtures for Dec 26th ALSO selects a set for Dec 28th and a set for the Jan 3/4 FA Cup weekend and publishes all 3 sets in the same post. 3) The Dec 26th and Dec 28th sets would be as normal......5 premier league, 3 championship & one game from each of L1 and L2. 4) For the Jan 3rd/4th FA Cup fixtures, each fixture must contain AT LEAST ONE premier league team. *you never know - it may boost our points totals ?"

Ballack's !!!!! - we've just had our first power failure of the winter !! Could be a sign of things to come - this part of the city is very vulnerable, seems like the infrastructure is still 1900's vintage. Hopefully will not impact future fixture predictions & reporting stats ? I'd put all my perishables outside - it's cold enough, but the effing animals around here would have a field day. Bit like Northern Cal. eh ellewoods, but not quite so damaging ?
You can put them in your car, I have had to do that before. We have been losing power all day to, big wind storm here.
Good suggestion sir, but the problem is, if the temp drops too much I can never get the bloody car doors open ! I'll just have to take my stuff round to friends homes who are not experiencing blackouts...at least I'll get a good nights sleep in a warm environment. Fingers crossed, the outage only lasted about 1/2 hour. No ice storm like this time last year( 5 1/2 days without power)What's the temp like in your neck of the woods ?
Do you have bears where you are? We do but there aren't enough of them to worry about keeping food in a car for a day or so. We just have a mom and a couple Cubs on my street. Definitely be careful doing my suggestion if you got any bears that aren't hibernating. It's only slightly below freezing right now, it's getting in the mid 20's at night which isn't to bad. You have to get up around 7000 feet here before you have to deal with really cold temps. I heat my house with a big wood stove anyway so losing power isn't to big of a deal.
Tigercanada. Your "Brief history of time" post has been scrambled somewhat! Post No 928. Was readable yesterday. This occured on Default setting. When I changed to Alternative Grey it restored to yesterday's quality.

The closest bears are probably no nearer than 150-200 miles away up north. I suspect it's been over 100 years since a sighting near Toronto as the city has grown exponentially in the last century. I live downtown, near the lake, and going to play golf at 7 a.m. and after over an hour & 1/4 of driving later the traffic is still teaming with commuters coming into the city for work. Bears wouldn't stand a chance.
Thanks Mr B_M_B, I noticed that too when I logged on this morning, changed to Grey as you suggested & it's fixed the problem...but only on my 24 inch monitor on the system I did the original document. On other systems where I have smaller monitors unfortunately it looks garbled. God knows what it'll look like on a tiny i-phone display ? Looks like I'll have to revert back to posting the various categories of stats in a linear way rather than lining them up side by side so that they are readable on most displays.
