That wasn't a striker's challenge, it was an elbow to the face and will be rightly banned.

Lets remember how Evertons 2 goals came to be. Both our CB's were half asleep, as usual, and are as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

I think you will find that is a tongue in cheek reference to Martinez's quote about McManaman's assault on Haidara

In a game where we have won today
why would you want to remember that ??

I like to remember the goals we have scored today
also like to remember that it is the first goal we have seen at the Leazes End in the first half, this season

I thought we played well today.

We could easily have wilted after the early setback, like we've time after time this year, but we didn't.
Really pleased for JC with his goal.
Many positives and f*** the negatives when we win the game - why look for faults.

Because it is happening far too often and better teams than Everton will punish us heavily.

Thought we were excellent. Dominated the game. Two stupid goals given away, thought Janmaat and Colo poor defensively all day. Colo, something is up. He must have kicked it straight out 5 times trying to play simple balls.

Perez was good but I thought Sissoko was MOTM. He was beastly. Young Alnwick did better and Cisse was very good. He'll get done for elbow but not that bad. I've watched it back and its not good but hardly assault. Couldn't see it live, just looked like a load of tussling in the box.

FFS this board, some are just miserable ****s. Halfway stage, 26 points on board and top 10. Prior to the season everyone was predicting a relegation battle. We have over achieved and performed above expectations. We struggle to enjoy winning with Pards, no surprise he wants out if true.

We weren't playing a better team than Everton so what's the problem ffs.

If Keegan had still been manager everyone would be wallowing in the " we will score more than you " bollocks and be proud of it. Because we've got a bloke in charge who's got people's backs up, the the same fickle so called football officionados focus on anything to have a pop at the fella.

Its obviously much easier to wallow in misery. Can you imagine going for a pint after a win with some of these? <laugh>

The point I was trying to make was we can all see the frailties at the back virtually every week , poor positioning, balls just lobbed over the top constantly catching our CB's out yet neither they or Pardew seem to be addressing it. It was a good win yesterday but we won't be so lucky against others and we suffer heavy defeats ( as has happened ). Please sort the back four out and stick with them. Dummett is a better CB than FB, Haidara is a better FB than Dummett, according to a number of members. Lets just stop chopping and changing , realise Colo is losing it, Williamson's never had it and Saylor is a part timer every season due to injuries. Sort this out in 3 days time please with quality buys.

Why would Pardew go? He is totally unsackable and can be here as long as he continues to cradle Mike's ball sack and gnaw on his syphilitic riddled dick. If Pardew leaves, which he would never have the bollocks to do, it would sadly be on his own terms when we all know he should have forcibly thrown out on his arse months ago.

Massively debatable based on defensive quality!

A win against Everton is a good result for us even if they are not playing particularly well. We do need a proper CB though. Not one who is just capable of throwing himself in the way but an orgainser who can play football and is going to replace Colo eventually

Think there is stuff we don't know about, whether it's Palace, Pardew, Ashley or something else we'll see.

I think if it were any other team other than Palace, the talk of him leaving would be a non-starter. But because it is Palace, a team he has a history with, plus the grief he had thrown at him (rightly or wrongly) earlier this season I really do think he will have taken a look at where he thinks he would be better off.

It may look ridiculous that he would be moving from a Club that is higher up in the league and with a job where he is 'unsackable' to a team staring relegation in the face, but not everyone wants to move upwards (and could he have done anyway????); I really think this is a reaction to a) it being Palace and b) wanting to be somewhere where he will be loved a bit more than he is currently with us!

Plus if it is true (which it might not be ... but hey, it's Ashley so probably is ...) about Sissoko out in January and no one coming in, weighing it all up Pardew will decide he's had enough of no money and no love, and go to the Club that he has history with - and that would make it on his own terms.

You have to consider his family ties too. He is London boy, why stay up here taking ridiculous abuse from a bunch of morons when he can go back down home to a club he loves, where his family will be happy.
