He'll have a tough job forcing Dave Connolly out of the team.

So did I, at the beginning of the season. I just get the feeling that we've moved on from what Ings can do for us. I'd like him here, but I don't think he'd play that often. Especially when Jay returns.

For the future of his career the best move he can make to us. We will offer the best facilities and chance to play. If he goes to Chelsea he will just be loans out.

Well it was in the paper newspaper, so I highly doubt it's out of date

Elia looks like a good player but brings an attitude problem. Mini Mario! Needs own social worker/minder.

I'll throw in a name - Andrej Kramarić. Plays for NK Rijeka in croatian first division, he scored 21 goals in 19 league games this season. He also made a debut to croatian national team, where he already scored 2 goals in 4 appearances. He's 23 years of age, and so far he scored 99 goals in 178 career appearances. In my opinion the best striker to come from Croatia since Eduardo da Silva (former Arsenal striker). Technically very gifted, hard-working player who can even play behind the main striker or on the both wings. It's no wonder that he is a target for clubs like Atletico Madrid, Juventus or Chelsea. NK Rijeka would settle for 8-10 millions for him, which is well in our range. So far the most concrete offer is the one from Chelsea, which would then loan him to Vitesse or Liecester, but Kramarić is not happy with that solution, because for him football comes first, and not the money. I think he would be an ideal fit for us. Whoever buys him will make a great deal.

Lets be realistic here, Odegaard will probably go to whoever pays him (and his parents) the most so we can quickly discount ourselves from this one

Think he offers something different to Pelle and Long and regreteably I am far from sure that Jay will be here next season

I thought it was pretty nailed on that he was going to Chelsea and then being loaned to Vitesse?

Yeah, it's all over croatian papers. Only Chelsea intend to loan him immediately, and that seems to be a small stumbling block.

Liecester also had a bid for the player, the club accepted it (about 8-10M), but the player was reluctant to sign for a club in the relegation zone. I think if Southampton was to send an offer, he would probably took us in consideration and might even prefer to come to Southampton, rather to be farmed on loan by Chelsea.

I think Ings would be a great introduction. Knew nothing really about him when he was in the championship other than he looks about 45. From what I've seen of his play he would be an asset. We need someone who can take the pressure off Pelle. I like that fact that hes strong and pretty quick and he give defenders a bloody hard time when he's on his game. I reckon theres more to come.
