Ayoze Perez... what.....a......player.....

The lad really is becoming the real deal.
He literally pops up all over the pitch and never stops running.
I will admit I was worried that he'd get bullied off the ball but he hardly lets the CB get near him as he used his guile and craft to flick the ball around.
Every game I see something new I like about him and today it was his defensive work.
Never stopped tracking back.
On top of his footballing skill he is meant to be a lovely down to earth lad who genuinely loves it in the North East and has no problem at all mingling with the fans.
Well done Carr, you've found us another gem!

He's a type of player that fans love, and one Newcastle fans have rarely in the last few years. If he continues this form he'll be quite something.

Potentially one to build a team around, although we know what the chances of that are like at Newcastle

 

As JPF says his rapid rise will most likely mean an earlier than expected departure.
Liverpool are in need of a striker....
On the Andy Carroll scale... I'd say £51m should do the trick as he's better than the young Torres at the same age according to several pundits, plus pepe from the Tapas bar.

Definitely motm and never stops trying. Great feet and as previously said uses guile and speed to stay clear of trouble. Worked his socks off all match. Great kid and l hope we keep hold of him.

He had a great game ,all over the pitch,great attitude considering he came from sunny Tenerife to put in mom performances in sub zero temperatures.

 

I also fear that the kid will be sold for a fat profit with the money going towards paying off this 'loan' that we apparently owe the bloke that owns the club lock stock!!

 

He has been brilliant, we'll be lucky to hold on to him. Pardew has done a great job with him. Shown huge faith. I did think Sissoko was MOTM though!

 

watched him closely against manure ..didn't deserve to be on the losing side ...was turning carrick , rooney inside oot when dropping deep ..all the time .. also c halfs couldn't get the ball off him they had to foul him ..

the lad has great control ...keeps the ball really close and hides it well ..also can change direction very quicky and gives nothing away with body language ..superb reminds me of the great iniesta ...so tidy with the ball ..

divent want to jinx the lad ..but hes getting better all the time .. got to remember hes really small . and lightweight ..

it was between him and sissoko ( who was outstanding gave barry a lesson ) for motm but perez scored a vital goal ..

 

Shown huge faith?? He only got in the team because we had nobody else (why wasn't he in from the start?) and has been undroppable since. Like Sissoko, everyone but Pardew knew he was a central midfielder, but he was a winger until Pardew had to play him through the middle. Great job my arse

 

ha ha yep true .. radio Newcastle were saying he wasn't ready 2 months ago lol .. I just laughed ..how are these people still in a job ... like these people are suppose to be pro s in there field ha ha
