Time was when I used to pick the thing up every time it was within reach. Now I go for days without touching it, and then for only a couple of minutes. That's a bad habit. It'll be no effort though. I just need to change the habit back to what it was, which was a very nice habit.
Alderweireld = hopefully will sign ( but have my doubts). Bertrand = basically done. Yoshida = the club may see McCarthy as being fourth choice. Rodriguez = already been offered a new deal and turned it down. Cork = I heard he wants to be playing week in week out which we can't offer. So maybe why we haven't heard of a contract offer. I hope he stays tho. Clyne = umm yeah. Hopefully?
Yosh has grown hugely this season into a very capable player. He wont be short of offers whether from us or elsewhere. Alderweireld I dont see staying at the club. I'd like to see us spending on this guy because he is absolute quality. He's rarely put a foot wrong all season. Be absolutely gutted to lose Clyne. Nothing more to say but money talks... From what Ive seen Ings would be a good signing for us. And would bring long standing support to the team.

As I've said more than once, I don't believe the papers at all until it is irrefutable. Hence, Jay is at Saints until he leaves. Which won't be until the summer, or perhaps for another few years.
Club is hopeful on Jrod, initial offer was turned down about 3 months ago but there's now a sense of optimism that he will sign.
Suspect you are right but me being the optimist hope points gained start with a 7 and we make top 4. If we keep all our players and Jay signs new deal and we cut out the silly mistakes then it is just possible?
I have 2 wishes... 1. Find another striker who can lead the line on their own to take the burden off Pelle who looks knackered after a very bright start. He works himself into the ground and it would be great if there was someone who could fill in when needed. For me, Long doesn't look convincing up top on his own and Jrod & Gallagher aren't fit.. 2. Sign Toby and Bertrand permanently. For me Toby has been the standout performer all season and it's been a joy to see a player of his quality in a Saints shirt. I think the chances of us signing him permanently are slim and could potentially depend on whether Miranda stays at Atletico- we're lucky his parent club have 2 of the best CBs in the world. I think our chances of getting Bertrand permanently are much higher though and he has made some positive noises about settling down at Saints long term.
If JRod suddenly signs a new contract, I will suspect he has had bad news about his injury. Quick sign Jay before your leg falls off.
I would have thought Yoshida will be looking for regular first team football somewhere. He's definitely good enough.
Hasn't Long only played once up top for us? Bit harsh to be judged in one game. Jayrod will eventually play down the middle.... whatever club that may be at
