.. let me explain that retort. what I meant was LEEDS kinda live in the past, all their Don Revie bullshit and European exploits.... are we gonna do that too?
Come on then Hat Let's have you're EXPERT opinion to survival you're such an expert that some on here's drool over ???
I like Bruce, he's an honest, decent manager. However, his teams do tend to go on really poor runs such as with Sunderland which ultimately led to him getting the chop. From an outsider it would appear he hasn't bought well (know the feeling) and is resorting to old, trusted players who often struggle at this level. I still think you're better than Leicester, Burnley and West Brom and are no worse than QPR or Palace. I think you should stick with Bruce until the end of the season because I don't think you'll go down, where as changing could result in you doing just that. If you were to lose 3 of the next 4 then I think he will go however.
Not about arrogance it;s about common sense, or in your case uncommon sense. If you don't witness what actually happens at a game, you cannot know what happens. Even if you watch online or the highlights you get a distorted view. You seem to think you can declare all kinds of opinions without actually seeing what happened, which you are entitled to do, without being told you are wrong by people who actually went and witnessed events first hand. It is you who is being arrogant.
watching on a stream is probably better than watching live, cos you get a closer look. you also get to see the action from different angles. I dont mke my decisions from watching specks whilst being sat in the rafters.
Well, my expert opinion is as follows: Sack steve bruce Banish the dictators at the top unsettling the club from top to bottom Change the name to Hull Tigers so we have some extra power in the transfer market with the additional funds it will bring in from abroad Sign a new goalkeeper with that fundage
Hatty, you have the same 'warped sense of humour' that I have. But getting back to Bruce, yesterday we missed two sitters, hit the post twice and were without Snodgrass, Diame, Dawson, Robertson, Chester and The Hudd - that's over half of our first team choices but to field 4 defenders, 4 midfielders and 2 wingers whilst 16 million quids worth of recognized (or so-called) Strikers on the bench was a little baffling. We are getting absolutely nowhere with conventional methods so maybe unconventional methods might get a result. They didn't! If we are still in the English Premier League at the end of this season I will be delighted but it is now becoming highly unlikely. Our only hope is to scratch a few points here and there and hope that the three teams currently below us do a lot worse. Either this or we need a couple of 'above average' strikers (at this level) signed in January. Hernandez raised his game yesterday and was very unlucky with the header that hit the post but for 10 million quid he should have much better ball control and presence. We played as a 'team' against Sunlun and got a result. We played as individuals yesterday and didn't. P.S. What the hell is 'Fundage"?
You'll be reading an empty board soon. At least then you can make up your own stuff about 20 goal a season strikers at our level.
You sound like the kind of person who would put everything they have in life on red at the casino...... and then lose.
History is important Pats, never forget that. We just saw our owners undermined by a campaign based almost entirely on the past, so its also very powerful. All these years we've been mocking TWS fans too, the irony was not lost on me. Good, bad or indifferent, History matters, shouldnt be forgotten and should be used as a cudgel whenever an opportunity presents itself. Have you learnt nowt?
It wasn't history that undermined Assem Allam. It was Hull City supporters, the Premier League and the FA. Supporters have enormous influence, an influence powerful enough for MK Dons to give up their claim to the FA Cup, which they won. It'll soon be January, does he stick or twist in the transfer market, does he sell or not, does he back Steve or not. He has some major decisions to make in such a short space of time.
