Agreed. Those who were calling for loyalty to those who won at Sunderland, rather than a logical selection two days after a previous game will now see the folly of it. Now you're just being unduly pessimistic. Everton aren't the kind of team that thrashes others very often, and they're in a real rut.
@GaryLineker: “@georgiebingham: Leicester win! Waiting for @GaryLineker to swear.” < Used up all my swear words on Hull's 20 missed chances at the end.
Never take you're highs to high, never take your lows to low. The people who where calling Bruce a demi god on Boxing Day are the same ones calling for him never to set foot in the KC ever again.
They had no win in 12 and were the one team most people wanted us to beat. So of course we weren't going to win. I thought we played alright for large parts of the game, Leicester looked poor but we let them in for their goal far too easily. Mcgregor is being passed the ball far too often, we must have played more backpasses to the keeper than any other side. It simply isn't necessary, because it mostly results in us walloping the ball down field and losing possession. A lot of the forward brigade were out in force, but I thought it was refreshing to see us have large spells of passing football. Brady needs to be more confident going forward instead of cutting inside and our forwards should have taken their chances, but I thought, as many others probably do, the team that ended the game should have started. There weren't any terrible performances today and it's hard to be critical, because we finally started playing through the middle as well as relying on crossing. If that's how Leicester are going to play every week, I don't have much hope for them. Thankfully, we have half a team to come back at the right time. With a few astute additions in January, we should be fine.
Dunoo what to say really. We let them slow the game down right from the off. We should have pressured them, we needed an early goal. Robbie Brady is a ****ing crab, has a complete aversion to going down his wing, drives me mental. Especially when the RB gets booked. Hernandez is aponce with **** haircut.
Weirdly, it's probably one of our worst performances of the season. The table does lie in some respects, we're not down there because of performances but individual errors. We played Spurs off the park on Boxing Day but thanks to Hamer and Morgan's mistakes, we lost. I did think we looked solid, but we were poor going forward.
Yes, got any names? As far as I remember, the ones calling Bruce a demi God after one win are the ones who accuse people who don't agree with them fickle for building an opinion on a years worth of **** results. And lies. And pies.
Hamer is ****ing **** I'm afraid. Sooner Kaspers back the better for you lot. I know Kaspers prone to the odd error but at least he's good when he's not busy ****ing something up.
He's steady, makes a few rash decisions but he commands his box which is something Kasper doesn't do. He's got 2 clean sheets and only something like 4 goals against him this season. I do agree that Kasper needs to hurry up and get back, but his pre-injury form was ****ing atrocious. I think Hamer will make a good keeper in a few years, just needs to learn from his mistakes.
One thing NP used to say "don't get to high with a win or to low with a defeat" and that's properly the best way to handle it. Mind you unfortunately i can't. Roll on the next game what else can you do. We need our big players back quickly and then we need them back on form to get us out of this situation
Crack on. I thought Nosferatu had a cracking first half, then again he was up against Meyler and Quinn. Did **** all when Livermore was put back in middle mind.
Are you on ****ing drugs or what? Hamer didn't have a save to make because he was beaten on numerous occaisions only for the post or some ****ing spawny defending on the line. The second of which the defender knew **** all about. There was also at least one handball in your penalty area.
First half we didn't do enough, second half if we put away one of the chances away we would have gone on to win it. At the end of the day we had several of our top players missing, get those back and we will be fine. If that is how Lesta play, they don't have enough to stay up IMO.
I reckon that's our bad luck used up now. No James Chester always affects us in a bad way too, he never ducks or hides, probably should consider making him Captain when he comes back.
We had two potentially against us in the Sunderland game and we got away with it, these things balance out over the season.
