Wouldn't celebrate until I knew who the replacement was.

Who ever it was would not have the record of 4 derby defeats so that would not bother me

I wouldn't celebrate at all as whoever replaced him would almost certainly be a downgrade on what we have at the moment. The blinkered hatred and abuse towards Pardew, from a sadly large section of our fan-base, is quite frankly embarrassing!

Explain more as most look at the bigger picture not 6/7 games over 14 months

I'm not looking at the last 6/7 games - I'm looking at his whole tenure, and who we would be likely to attract as a replacement.

Whover is manager of Newcastle United knows they will have to operate within the confines of the club making a profit and living within it's means. This immediately rules out a lot of the big names who get mentioned, as they have a record of only going places where they know they will be given a lot of money to invest. Whoever we get will not be given that.

This also rules out a lot of the 'big names' that get thrown about from abroad.

People also say they want someone in with a backbone who wont be Ashley's mouthpiece. Whoever is our manager will support the regime. If they do not support the regime they will not be our manager. This is a cold hard (and simple) fact that a lot of people seem unable to grasp.

We are tenth in the league. Not as good as we were at this stage last year, but hopefully we will have a less traumatic January. Pardew is not the best manager out there, but he is as good as any of his probably replacements - and better than many of them. He has kept us in the league and does not look like getting us relegated. Any manager available at the minute is available for a reason.

Pardew is not perfect, but he is more than likely better than those available mid season - who are available for a reason!

He is simply not good enough, to lose 4 derbies on the bounce says it all.
His record is embarrassing and the way he conducts himself is diabolical

That is poor behaviour from him, as was the headbutt nd pushing the linesman.

But we latch onto that conveniently and ignore some of the facts that surround those incidents. At the time of the headbutt the match day thread was full of people saying it wasn't a headbutt and that Myler should be ashamed. They pointed out that he was pushed first and 'got into his face' Some of these people are the same people who say it is a reason to despise him. It was wrong and inappropriate, but nowhere near as bad as many like to make out. The beloved KK was not shy of getting in opposing players faces - or referees at times. He could also throw abuse about. It's never right, but it happens. SAF, AW - they've all done it. If we had a winning record people would be very happy to forget these incidents.

I'd like to think we're a bigger club and fan-base than having to define ourselves by how we do against one particular team. It's where we are in the table that matters.

A season is about 38 Premier League game not just 2. Personally think the guy has done a bad job and would like to see him go but there are more factor than just the games against Sunderland.

I've seen too many Managers come and go over the years to celebrate when Pardew is eventually on his bike.
If he was to go now, it will cause upheaval that we can do without at this time of the season.

That said, all we're doing is trundling along under him game by game hoping for the best.
The Derby games might only be two games in a season, but THEY DO matter, and to be the Manager that lost four in a row for the first time in our history can never be forgotten. He's a ****ing Jonah!!!

If he goes, so what, the Club will go on.
All in all, I'd happily gamble on a New Manager.

Means more than any individual game, given the choice I'd rather have beaten Sunderland than Everton but it's still 3 points. Everton and Chelsea worth more than Sunderland game.

    RDM for me.
He has class offnthe pitch which has been lacking since the days of SBR, with the exception of CH.

Hang on, you're mentioning the 'Bigger Picture' and then in a previous post you're talking about losing four derbies which certainly won't be all be in the same season.

You know if someone came to you and said that you could have any manager in the world and they would win the league, the FA Cup and whatever else you wish but they had to lose a certain brace of games in a season I can only assume that you would decline that offer.
