About the same. Maybe a little less. United won 3 in a row and we were a better side than any of Jose's Chelsea teams. Chelsea fell away because of Roman not spending. That wouldn't have changed had Jose stayed.

United 06/7 to 08/9 were the best side in premier league history. Only the existence of Barcelonas greatest ever team prevented us from even more success.

Look at Jose's past record. He excels when other sides are in transition. Every title hes won, the other sides have been going through major changes. Jose is ruthless at taking advantage in such situations.

Come on, stop wumming it up! the Chelsea team that won back-to-back titles has yet to be equalled in quality and diversity. We won the first one by Easter and the other by Christmas, I'd perhaps have a rethink!

conceding 15 goals in a season is insanely awesome.
The red tops even started offering cash incentives to the first player to score against us.
Seem to remember at the start of 05-06 season we didn't concede in the first 7 games or something silly.

You had a brilliant one off season. Not as good the year after. We were miles ahead for 3 seasons in a row, second to only barcelona in the world and played football you guys can only dream of.

So not sure what Jose was going to do. He cleared off as soon as United came good and returned to england when we lose the best manager ever.

Chelsea 05 and 06 were dull. People are football fans for excitement so United 07 to 09 wasn't only a better footballing side, it was more entertaining. We won games playing football. You won games by being ultra defensive.

Go look at the goals for/against and difference totals for those 5 years.

Hey. Its what everyone else thinks also.

Only those who base their entire football knowledge on basic statistics think otherwise. Fans of football have a different view.

Anyway. You are all starting to sound an awful lot like the "if's" from Merseyside. If this and could've that....

The Barca 11/12 side were magnificent, not in transition and were a result or two away from another treble. They had a bad week against Real and Chelsea which cost them two titles. Jose and Chelsea succeeded where Sir Alex repeatedly failed <ok>

They were a shadow of the side they were the previous 3 seasons. Clearly in transition and tbh they have been since. They peaked at the end of 2011.

Think I preferred you last season when you just shut the **** up and occassionally cried about Moyes.
    Far more entertaining.

They peaked in early 2012 winning 15 on the bounce. 2011/12, they broke their number of goals scored record, goal diffference record, Messi had his best ever season.

They were unbeaten in the Camp Nou for yonks until Jose stormed it, were unlucky v Chelsea and had to play El Classico between a EC semi final.

Fact remains that they were on the slide in 2011-12. Real won the league by 9 points and Barca haven't been in a CL final since 2011. Guardiola knew it was time to exit. UIR's got it pretty much spot on.

So are you saying they were better than the 2011 side. Arguably the best ever?

Time for you to log off the internet.

    Tears of laughter maybe.
We aint quite as bad as the Gooners.
You in particular just talk a special brand of deluded BS, that both amuses and frightens me in equal measure.
What kind of reaction do you expect from saying that a double title winning team was dull etc.....I personally wasn't finding it dull to be honest.

Its actually quite disturbing how your board has become lately....last season most of you were nice as pie.
Now you are looking like top 4 again its all Billy big bollocks and talking **** again......

You wouldn't think it was boring as you are a chelsea fan.

Your owner thought it was boring though. Which should tell you everything you need to know.

Also, learn the meaning of deluded. Your doing the scousers a disservice.

    LOL
I think most of them are resigned to the fact that they are **** now.....

With the exception of maybe 1 or 2.
I think you will get top 4 this year, said so from Day 1. Still think Arsenal will pip you to 3rd though.

Arsenal finish 4th and only 4th. That is the way of the world. It can never be changed.
