I know ST, the only good thing about Corstorphine is that there is a road called Glasgow Road whic gets you out of Corstorphine in jig time.

    It's a ****ing hole.

We done some work there at the "Forte Posthouse" many moons ago.

I worked at Donalsdson College, when it was still a college for deaf kids, **** me, the deaf ****s were ****ing mental <yikes>

They kept some German and Italian POWs there during WWII and their graffitti was still inscribed on the walls of certain areas of the attic.

I used to work there, 1999 I think it was. Spent a summer putting together a book on various agricultural research programmes throughout Scotland.

    Real exciting stuff!

South Coast anywhere (excluding towns) from the New Forest to Devon, not Cornwall as it's a bit too cut off and too touristy.

Scotland - Edinburgh (Merchiston area) or one of those wee fishing villages in Fife (I forget their names) or somewhere very, very quiet in East Lothian.

England - Yorkshire or north Lincolnshire.

    Wales -

I don't know why everyone knocks Wales, it's got some of the most beautiful coastline in these islands and the weather is agreeable. Couldn't live there myself as I'd probably "come home to a real fire" but there's nothing stopping you scots and irish.

Personally, I don't know enough about the place to make a choice one way or another. (At least you'd be nice and toasty in the winter, Slapme, coming home to your "real fire". Never let it be said that the Welsh aren't considerate.)

Yes mate, if what you need is pound shops!!

I did Wind St to death for about five years, bit too old to be bothering nowadays but can still cut it occasionally. Prefer a decent meal and that is something Swansea has in abundance, top restaurants.

Where you from in Swansea by the way?

For me, and I know I'm biased, but my home town of Bristol has got everything you could possibly want (including night life)

Originally Cwmbwrla, now over the river in Port Toilet.

And there's nothing wrong with pound shops! To be honest as long as it's got a decent place to buy books, games and music that pretty much does me for shopping so pretty easy to please.
