    Dross.

But kicking off just 43 hours after the last game ended at the stupid time of midday when teams have had to travel is crazy. What do you expect?

Much, much better second half. The midfield were far more competitive, the defence was rarely troubled and we caused them some real problems.
Our improved fitness seemed to make a big difference and they were definitely hanging on at the end.
Moss bottling the three major decisions in the game probably cost us, as both Young and Rafael should've gone and Rooney's clear foul on Kane in the box wasn't penalised.

We need to start far better than that against Chelsea, as they won't let us off the hook like Utd did, but I hope that Pochettino makes a few changes again.
Walker should come back in, despite Chiriches having something of a mixed game, Davies should keep his place in the side and I'd like to see Dembele in the middle.
Decent run of form for us though, despite playing badly in some of those games, we've taken a good amount of points and rarely looked well beaten.

Ex-Man Utd player Owen Hargreaves doesn't think that Rooney's mugging of Kane was a penalty! <laugh>
He's actually competing with Michael Owen to be the worst pundit on BT Sport. Nearly as bad as his mess of an accent.

Van Gaal reckons they should have scored 4 or 5 goals?!*@

Most pleasing was our discipline and concentration. All down to high fitness levels which we'll benefit from later this season. I think we're turning a corner.

Man Utd fans moaning about the ref on their board. The guy gives them all of the big decisions and they're still not happy. Ridiculous.

Don't understand why Van Gaal replaced 3 defenders with 3 defenders Not the strategy of someone looking for the win.

Yeah but in their defence they are used to being given penalties against us for **** all, fouling us with impunity, having goals 3 feet over the line not recognised, not conceding penalties or free kicks, not having offside goals ruled out and being allowed to play until they take the lead...bless em...the last 3 years have been tough

The ref should've also given them all the small decisions and all the decisions where there wasn't a decision to make. It's what they're used to, barring last season anyway...

Agree with almost all of this, but thought Chiriches had a very good game. Had some very good long balls out from the back too. Young should have gone and we should have had a pen. Considering the amount of chances they had in the first half, I think a draw is probably fair.

Yes his reason for saying it was not a penalty? I just think it wasn't! <laugh>

With Chiriches being used as a backup right back, it looks like Naughton's headed for a January exit.

Interestingly, last week it was suggested we'd loan Dier to a PL club to give him first team experience.

    Dier > Fazio.
    But he definitely needs games.
