Just back from a week in Watford and I'm very tired as I was up at 3.30 this morning to get a taxi to Gatwick as my youngest had a flight to Bordeaux to catch at 6.55. We certainly didn't deserve anything yesterday.
Morning all, It's my birthday today, and it is cold, cloudy and trying to snow. Don't think it will amount to much, but will get and do the bread run just in case. Extra supplies needed as family are coming and they all have healthy appetites. Seems that I will have to miss the game today, but after the last effort that will not be so bad.

Found out from my ex father-in-law this morning that the suitcase hadn't made it to France with my youngest. Apparently, they let my Mum know yesterday but with the early start I had they didn't want me to worry and have a seizure. I've since had a phone call from my ex father-in-law to say that the case has been found and they should be getting it this afternoon. The amazing thing is that my son put in the claim himself which is phenomenal by someone with Asperger's Syndrome doing that in a foreign country when he was reluctant to even go on the flight without anyone he knows so it shows what a huge job the staff in the support unit at the school he was at until last summer did.
Ditto OFH I am having real problems with this new set up... It is taking literally minutes to post anything....
Happy birthday OFH - hope you get separate presents on birthday and Christmas - it was my brother's birthday yesterday and some people "combine" presents which is a cheat. If Canary Dave could only teach me how I would post fancy emoticon type images to you too - so consider it done even if it is in invisible ink. (boring ones I am afraid but best I can do. Yorkie - I also complained about having a new member but like you now seem to have a well known member- which I am sure is not an improvement
