So the rumours of 'at least a dozen' clubs interested in signing CMS allegedly including QPR, Norwich, Swansea, Wigan, Everton - even Championship clubs like West Ham and Leicester, it is being reported that he has signed for Brighton... Argueably not the greatest work by his agent but I wonder, did he bottle the chance of stepping up into the big time?
Glad that we didn't buy him to be honest. If he doesn't have the bottle to challenge himself and take a step up (rather than a big step sideways); I feel we will have had a good escape. If CSM doesn't believe in himself, he would have been a big failure when facing the class defences of the premier league!!
The general verdict before he went for Brighton was that he was unproven and wouldn't be able to step up 2 divisions to the PL. Now that he has rejected us (and the other teams with which he was linked) we feel insulted, snubbed. We can't have it both ways.
Twins CMS did not reject us our manager briatore didnt want him he told his assistant manager NW that he wasnt what the club needed.
That was my first reaction, that he didn't have the stomach for it. But, this puts a different slant on it! http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-n.../2/exclusive-–-fry-qpr’s-owners-are-disgrace?
They must be just waiting to sell, the club will be worth less at the foot of the table. They have to sell before the season starts to maximise the price .
I think that there is no doubt at all that Tango & Cash are negotiating the best price the can get to make a profit from their investment and hand over to the new owners to make rush signings for the new season. Their problem is the longer they leave it and closer they get to the closure of the transfer window at the end of August, there is minimal chance of getting signings that will keep the club from the relegation places - and the investment value of the club will drop quickly. It's all about the negotiations now!
Actually I applaud the guy, He's chosen first team football instead of a bigger pay packet and a seat in the stands at a premier league team.
If I was him I wouldn't have joined us either even if there wasn't interference from Briatore. Which club will be in a better state in two years? I don't think he bottled it at all.
True, whilst we will be sinking faster than this woman in a tub of gravy soon.. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/a...hocking-confession-worlds-fattest-mother.html
