Two players who j feel would improve our squad dramatically. Both been spoke about before, both with prem experience, and both just what we are looking for IMO.

Tottenham's wantaway midfielder Niko Kranjcar feels the club are pricing him out of a summer move away from White Hart Lane.

The Croatia international is keen to secure first-team football elsewhere having fallen way down Harry Redknapp's pecking order.

The former Portsmouth playmaker made just two league starts last season with the majority of his appearances coming from the bench.

Clubs are keen to acquire his signature, but the 26-year-old insists that Spurs' high valuation is deterring interested parties from bidding.

    Surprised
"I'm shocked about the transfer fee set for me," Kranjcar told SportskeNovosti.

"It's a price that cools down everybody who is interested. It doesn't matter if the price is in pounds or euros.

"A fee between 10million and 15m is just too much for everybody.

"If Tottenham would be happy with €6.7million (£6m), we could all be happy. But if they keep asking for so much money no one will buy me.

"I know that Dynamo Kiev were interested in buying me, but when they were told about my asking price talks just stopped."

    .Then........

Fulham boss Martin Jol is in the market for a new left-back with Mexican defender Carlos Salcido expected to leave Craven Cottage as he is homesick.

The Cottagers were thought to be considering a move to bring out of favour Liverpool defender Paul Konchesky back to Craven Cottage, but it appears their interest in the full-back has cooled.

Riise is now on Jol's radar with sources in Italy claiming Fulham have expressed an interest in the Roma defender.

Norway international Riise is entering the final year of his contract and he is expected to leave the Italian side this summer rather than the capital-based club seeing him move on a free transfer next summer.

New Roma coach Luis Enrique has already lined up a deal for Riise's replacement having made a move for Sporting Gijon's Jose Angel meaning they are open to offers.

Riise is believed to be keen on a return to England after enjoying seven successful years with Liverpool prior to his switch to Roma in 2008

Niko Kranjcar would be a better buy than nzog if the crafty cockney would drop the price the ****ers cant buy everyone.

Agreed with everyone about Krancjar - The Riise that Liverpool had a few years ago would definitely improve but I haven;t seen him in 3 years so I don;t know how his form is and how his age has affected him - great left foot on him though!!

Come on Brucie - get Niko signed up...

Not just SB's decision though, Bill. Short and Quinny will have to OK anything first.

    Spent a fortune there mate.

Anyhow, sometimes you have to pay for what you want, and in todays market, how much is Kranjaer worth?

We got a lump for Jordan, and this fella is what we have been missing for years, a left winger.

Riise was quality, but is he now?
McMenemy bought Alan Kennedy for us from Lpool ,hat full of medals and all but he couldnt do it for us .His legs had gone.Got to be careful with
yesterdays stars.I would like a cheap gamble on Konchesky and a try for Bellamy even if he is a horrible little ******.

I'd hate Konchesky myself. Don't rate him that highly, but I've also heard that he can be a very disruptive element in the dressing room.
