It’s a good thing for years now our keepers have had an inability to command the box and collect crosses I have always thought this was down to the keeper coaching. When we finally removed the old coaching staff a few years back (Wood) we replace him with a player that he had been training so it was no surprise when we then continued to struggle on crosses and commanding the box. A fresh start at just the right time!! Well we might as well.
Kingy, it seems Brendan is about to pay you guys a visit regarding Loach http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...-to-sign-keeper-Scott-Loach-from-Watford.html
That's been rumoured for ages, apparently ipswich want him too. Tottenham wanted him a while back but not since he dropped a few gomes-styled clangers. (Like kicking the ball into the arse of a young centerback, and then watching it curl spectacularly into his own net).
That's the one area most WFC fans would agree is loach's weakness. He is too quiet and seems reluctant to come and collect anything. Other than that he is a good young prospect. 3million would be a good offer as he is a regular U21 keeper and with any luck he will be called up to the senior squad a few more times. I would be gutted to see chamberlain leave but if he does then so be it and we can get someone else in to do it.
