Barring any new problems, Mick is hoping to move over to the new site very soon; possibly this weekend.

Hopefully you have all familiarised yourselves with the test site and will be happy with the move. There will, of course, be a further announcement when the conversion date becomes definite.

Any questions/comments can be posted below.

    Cheers
    Ron

I have asked for an implementation plan and I will notify this as soon as available.

In the meantime in order to aid a smooth switch, does anyone have any questions about how to do what on the new site?

Mick will be moving over to the new site early Saturday morning. We may not get a trouble free conversion so please bear with us. Any problems let us know asap and we will try to get them sorted. If they are only trivial things you can still let us know but problems will be sorted in order of priority.

Ron, you know everything technical <laugh>

I have a few questions for you.... (I dont think our gas mods has been on the mod board recently as they havent pre-warned us about the changes!!

    1) Where is the swear filter??
    2) Where do you go to find out how many members your board has and how many have joined since a selected date you choose?
    3) As you know I run a few games and use tables to show certain things. The table formula on the old not606 format worked. But this new format (which currently I cant stand) doesnt seem to accept my table formula and as a result my tables look like this.....
Here is the Lawrenson prediction table http://www.not606.com/threads/the-mark-lawrenson-prediction-games-18-19-20-festive-period.286951/
Here is the Attendance game table http://www.not606.com/threads/atten...a-macclesfield-h-torquay-h-nuneaton-a.286746/
I use tables for other things too. Now is all cocked up without a way of fixing it.

    Can you help pretty please?

(Im sure there are many other things but these are the 1st 3 things I can think of)

Under Preferences you can set the Profanity filter. The default is to hide profanities

As far as I know you could only find this info on the old site using the member search facility. It would seem that the Member search on here doesn't exist. I have raised that during testing but there have been higher priority things to focus on. I am compiling a list of things to raise once the highest priority things are sorted.

oh and what the hell is up with replying to comments! when you hit reply it makes the page scroll too far down so you can actually see the box where you would start typing your reply. i have to scroll up a bit! rather annoying!

The one I used to use doesn't work either. I'm sure brb will be able to help with this as he uses HTML. I will raise this but meanwhile I'll have a look at the Gillingham board to see if brb has already dealt with it.

Hadn't noticed that but I see what you mean. I'll add that to the list. Sometimes I get my posts displayed as blank or gibberish, then they display OK. It's intermittent so no hope of finding the cause unless others encounter the same problem.

No problem Jack. How are you these days?

brb currently has no internet access so can't help at present

At present we don't have access to the mods board. As soon as we do I'll post raise the HTML problem there' If I get time I'll scout round a few other boards to see if anyone else uses HTML. Millwall might be a good place to start
